I do not recommend
Telehealth
She is mostly focused on ways to charge you more, and get paid. She doesn't seem to care. She feels transactional, and comes off as abrasive and rude which is surprising given she is in mental health. I would suggest you find someone else.

Grateful for Dr. Abrams
Dr. Abrams is a low-profile, caring, broad-minded, genuine physician. I consider myself lucky to be a patient of hers because she is one-of-a-kind.

Like the other one-star reviewers, I wish I could also give a zero. This doctor puts profit over patients. Our daughter needed an ADHD test that was not covered by our health insurance. We were prepared to pay the out of pocket cost. What we were not prepared for was a doctor who went into rapture over money. She did not offer a medical assessment. Her first question was, Do you have Venmo? She also called the online test quick and dirty. She was rude, condescending, impatient and arrogant. And she just did not care about our daughter. To show up for the Hippocratic Oath is easy, honoring it requires ethics. This doctor is NOT ETHICAL. (Please note - quotation marks and apostrophes do not appear correctly on this website.)

Zero is not an option so she gets a 1. As unprofessional and self-serving as it gets. I am appalled at how I was treated by this ‘mental health professional’. Reckless and rude.

Dr. Abrams took great care of me for ten years until she moved further west. Now that she is closer to me I’m having my records transferred to her. In my opinion, she is the best.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Abrams?
I was referred to Dr. Abrams by an LCSW because I needed meds after slipping into a major depression. I was very put off by her attitude and communication style considering her client base. She almost insisted that I make all appts online which either didn't work well on the website or couldn't accommodate my schedule. She also claimed to specialize in mental health though she has little to no formal training in mental health and doesn't understand it well enough. I went back to my PCP for meds.

I wish that I could give her a zero. I was referred to this so called "doctor" and humanitarian through my family doctor as I have suffered from. ADHD for my entire life. In addition, I am a recovering addict from opiates and never had an addiction issues for with ADHD medicine for 10+ years. This is a tough situation and Ms. Abram was as incompassionate and unprofessional as I could imagine. I only told her this basic summary and she refused to see me. Do not use. Unprofessional and rude
