Dr Bremer and all of her staff are easy to talk to, gentle and caring. I know that they have a lot of patients on the busy days that I always go on. I never feel rushed and always feel listened to.

Dismissive Attitude
I experienced Dr. Bremer as cold, condescending, and abrupt. In my clinical notes, she even wrote her 'OUT OF SCOPE' opinion about the outcome of an upcoming appointment with a different doctor. Frequently, she dismissed my answers to her questions and abruptly cut me off.

Wonderful!
I saw Dr. Bremer a few years ago. She was kind, funny, and fixed my years long problem immediately! I’m flabbergasted by these negative reviews. I thought she was wonderful!

Find anyone else!
Her bedside manner was atrocious. Zero clinical empathy. As a preceptor, she treated her students terribly even in front of us. She spoke out of her scope of practice every time we saw her - telling us what'd happen with pulmonology, radiology, critical care when she was only consulted on neurology. Elitist know-it-all. She appeared to take pleasure in telling us the worst case scenarios and giving only bad prognoses. We asked the hospital staff for anyone else but her again.

Dr bremer was amazing. She told me what she was doing every step of the way. She had casual conversations with me and was able to respond while still doing her job wonderfully. Any questions, no matter how random, she was willing to answer. Overall great experience and interacts amazing with me as a patient

She was very kind and explained things well!! But getting ahold of her staff for a referral from her is a nightmare to say the least. I needed a referral from her to Nebraska Med and having a heck of a time with her staff getting it done . Staff tells me one thing and Neb Med tells me another. So Monday morning I will spend another two hours trying to get a referral from her.

Kind & Empathetic
Dr. Bremer helped me with my Chronic Migraine. Her staff have always called me back within 24 hours and answered mychart messages promptly (or even called in response to one I had left). She listened, offered sympathy and now we chat during our appointments as well as discuss my symptoms. I've always found her to listen attentively and practice empathy for my condition. She even celebrates my life moments and shares her own. She is so kind and genuine, I'm shocked to see all these bad reviews. Also, if you're ever feeling like you're gravely ill, do not go sit in a Dr's waiting room if you don't have an appointment. Go to the ER!!!

Condescending. Arrogant, and disrespectful
As a young mom, dr bremer was unbelievably judgmental. I’ve never experienced such disrespect before. She automatically assumed that because I’m a young mom, I must be single and living with my parents, saying “well it’s either living off your boyfriend or at your parents”. When i asked what made her think that she said “well it’s the obvious choice” and continued talking about how that’s the assumption she makes when she sees a young mom. I informed her that just because I’m young (21) doesn’t mean i have to be single or live with my parents or rely on everyone around me making my child their responsibility. Later she mentioned how I’ll become pregnant again soon so she can’t prescribe certain medications, when I’m definitely not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon, just another assumption she made of a stereotypical young parent situation. Told me there’s no way I’m allergic to certain medications, that my allergic reactions are too rare to happen. Don’t go to her.

Great doctor
Dr. Bremer was the first neurologist to be able to give me a diagnosis and had the patience to work with me (it took a year or so) and try different meds until I could at least function.I would and have recommend her to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. She seemed all over the place, couldn’t keep track of the information I provided her, and judgmental. Overall, she honestly didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. I will not be returning anytime soon.
