Dr. Karen Burke, MD

Dr Burke’s exams are always very thorough. She found a small spot on my knee that I hadn’t even noticed, and it ended up being a non-invasive skin cancer, easily treated. She is friendly and personable, and happy to discuss the science behind her Longévité products and her approach to skin care if you are interested in doing so. (There is zero pressure to purchase her products, and I started out slowly and somewhat skeptically. Nevertheless, my experience has been that they are reasonably priced and work really well). Dr Burke maintains a youthful energy and excitement about her work that is palpable: you leave her office really wanting to take good care of your skin. The office is comfortable; the staff pleasant. In addition to her private medical practice, Dr Burke is a busy hospital physician most mornings, so bear that in mind as you schedule your appointment. I thoroughly recommend her.

she's one of the best doctors (underlined) in dermatology around. She cares! She isn't pushing cosmetical procedures and will insist on a body check. Of course if you don't want that, tell her, but call ahead of your appointment to see if she's running late as she often does due to her taking time w/ her patients - she's very thorough. She also offers fractora which is an effective cosmetic treatment if you're looking to look gorgeous (it's painless) and she has a good price for it.

Dr. Burke is kind and knows a lot about my chronic skin condition. She goes over many aspects of the disease offering her many years of experience. As a doctor she is very thorough and complete. Her staff is also very kind and sweet. I am fortunate to have her as my dermatologist.

She spends the visit trying to sell you her high-priced skin care products, complaining about how little insurance pays her, and does unnecessary tests to boost her income, even telling you the results will not be valid because she isn't doing them properly. She will keep you waiting for over an hour, even when no other patients are present.
