Would Not Let Her Treat My Child Again
Dr. Karen George is an ER doctor at OLOL Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge. She saw my son when he had RSV. She was very negligent, did not check 75% of the things she should have, missed the fact that he had pneumonia, and sent him home to die. He ended up back in the ER an hour later needing to be put on oxygen and several rounds of breathing treatments. She missed so many warning signs we would never trust her with the life of our child again. Immediately reported her to the hospital board and to the State of Louisiana. I will warn any parent in the Baton Rouge area to be extra vocal if you ever encounter Dr. Karen George being the only ER doctor when your child is in need. Get a second opinion & do not trust her judgement. Nurses were more vigilant than her.
