Dr. Hendershott took the time to totally explain my diagnosis and treatment plan in understandable terms. She answered all questions thoroughly and I never felt rushed. Dr. Hendershott is a very personable, compassionate and skilled surgeon. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing surgery in her field of expertise.

I am so glad I chose to see Dr. Karen Hendershott at Arizona Oncology. At a very scary and overwhelming time in my life, Dr Hendershott was there to reassure me and calm me down. She was very supportive, patient, and explained everything in a clear manner. Everyone at Arizona Oncology is very supportive and kind. Dr Hendershott arranged for my surgery and follow up appointments with the other doctors. I did not have to chase down doctors for anything! Highly recommend.

Dr. H always makes herself available to discuss issues with a patient. I am impressed by the scheduling of the staff - appointments are always on time.

She answers all questions. Is reassuring, without overly promising any unrealistic outcomes. She explains in detail and why her recommendations are important. Her staff are all very kind and helpful. Although, I am sure I was luckier in my outcome than most: it was a terrifying experience and they all made it much easier. She is a genuinely caring person.
