Dr. Kolba was, by far, the best rheumatologist I’ve had in the 35 years I’ve had the disease. She treated the patient, and not just the disease; a quality sorely lacking in other rheumatologists I’ve seen. We are happy for her that she retired, but sad for us! She is deeply missed.

Dr. Kolba is, without a doubt, the best doctor I have ever had. She spends time with her patients, and you never feel rushed. She explains your condition thoroughly, recommends treatment, and does appropriate follow-up. I highly recommend her!

Actually said "your pain is not my problem." Literally yelled at me and then refused to give me a referral for physical therapy until I "lost some weight." (I'm 5'8" and 185lbs. not that it matters) I've never had a doctor bring me to tears before. Made me feel like my life had no hope. Luckily I found a better doctor in SLO.
