Caring Physician
I have found Dr. Mass to be completely professional at my visits. She takes the time to listen to medical problems associated with perimenopause and menopause. She gives detailed well thought out answers while also informing of the pros and cons of different therapy options. I saw that someone said she rolled her eyes. I believe she does that when she is trying to think of the best way to word something for her patients (not out of disrespect).

Very Judgemental...terrible bedside manner
I brought my daughter in to discuss her severe cramping during her periods. Instead of discussing possible solutions, she wanted to spend more time on discussing her weight...and how abnormally skinny she was. After me telling her REPEATEDLY that she has gotten a clean bill of health from her primary doctor she finally stopped. Her solution to her cramps were to wait until she had her first child and then the cramps would subside. I told her that was not a sustainable solution. She recommend a few other things that we had already tried. Finally she mentioned going on the pill but was really rude. Her bedside manner was terrible.

Caring Physician
I was seen for an appointment on 9/19/22. I just have to say that Dr. Mass as well as her staff were extremely nice and very efficient. Dr. Mass definitely takes her time with her patients, but that's what you want in a physician. Caring, Knowledgeable, Thoughtful, & Kind. :-)

Had the exact same experience with this doc several years ago. Terrible bedside manner that I never forgot. She had been recommended by my primary docs office. After my partial hysterectomy I never went back. She was especially nasty with my hubby. I got the impression with her that it was a culture thing with us.

Dr. Mass is wonderful! She DOES take the time with her patients, that's why you need to plan for her to run a little late . I'd much rather have a doctor take the time with their patients than be on the clock! Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff, too!

I've never trusted a doctor more. Dr. Mass literally saved my life. She delivered my baby via c-section this past spring and due to structural abnormalities, I had sever hemorrhaging. Dr. Mass took control of the situation, kept my family well informed, and visited me in the hospital every day for the 14 days that I was admitted. She was also a wonderful advocate to make sure I was allowed to see my son while admitted in the ICU and post-surgical care floors.

I have been extremely fortunate to have the care Dr. Mass provides her patients. I'm confident that not even the most well-known academic clinics offer a higher level of professionalism. She was once described to me as "meticulous," and that is a well-deserved compliment. She provides careful diagnosis and offers options, answering questions clearly and never seeming hurried when I asked the same questions more than once. I recently had a hysterectomy, at age 78, and am recovering easily.

She has the world's worst attitude... She couldn't look me in the eye while talking. She just rolled up her eyes and closed them. She doesn't suggest, instead she imposses. Also told me she didn't have time for me so she will let me ask the questions I had to the NP
