Dr Karen Schorn
Dr Schorn has been my Psoriatic Arthritis specialist for many years. As possible side effects showed up with biologics I was taking she tried something else and thoroughly explained how the injections should work for me. After labs staff always called if any changes needed . She included my GP in my hometown with any bloodwork and changes in treatment. She is straightforward and direct in her approach and some seem to resent this but she is a caring and I dare say loving physician and does not dance around her medical decisions and diagnosis and she is brilliant! Her nurse is A#1….also direct in her approach! But also very thorough and calls back as soon as she can! All are professional and I feel they should not be mistaken for uncaring!

Sick & Tired
My doctor referred me to Dr. Schorn for RA. I had been diagnosed with RA by a different doctor a few years back which was based on an elevated RH factor and my symptoms. I was referred to Dr. Schorn because the other doctor was no longer there. Dr. Schorn took blood and she said that my blood work did not show that I had RA. She said that I was depressed and had fibromyalgia. When I explained that I had an elevated RH factor before so how is it possible that I do not have RA now? She argued with me and said that it was wrong. She gave me an antidepressant prescription and did not even schedule a follow up appointment. She told me to just call if I needed anything. It seemed like since my blood work did not show that I did not have RA that she did not want me as a patient. She has terrible bedside manner, and seems like she does not care or listen to her patients. I will never go back there.
