Dr. Karen Schwartz, MD

Dr. Schwartz is a very caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor. She listens to all your issues and then discusses what options you may have. She went over my medical history and requested additional testing. She takes her time and I never felt rushed. She even called me on a Sunday morning to discuss my issues. Most other doctors would never do that!! I truly trust her and highly recommend her.

Listens to the patient, gives you options and seems to genuinely care about your health.

Dr Schwartz is warm and caring. She actually listens when you discuss any issues or have questions regarding your health. She is forward thinking and is there for her patients. I highly recommend !!

I have found Dr. Schwartz to be very caring and thoughtful before prescribing any medications. Results for my bone density has improved drastically. She listens and I never feel rushed. Yes the wait can be long, but its worth it when you find a doctor that you can trust.

Dr Schwartz was very nice when I first saw her. The Dr that follows up with medications I think her name is Anna she was also very nice. My frustration is that when I call and leave a message on voicemail or when I email a message no one ever gets back to me. I left so many messages with no response that I finally went in person. They said they never received any messages from me. They claim they responded to all messages every day. Well not true. I have heard the same thing from another woman that is a patient there. She also told me that she has been there waiting and a few other patients came in and complained about the same issue. I don’t know if it’s the office staff or the drs that is the problem but this is not the way to run a doctors office. Patients go to them for help. We shouldn’t be treated this way!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Schwartz for a number of years, the pros are that she is open to trying new things. I wanted to try a different type of medication that I read may be good, she was open to it. She is smart, but I think it is time for her to retire.. it does not matter if you are the first or the last appointment of the day, you will wait a minimum of at least an hour and a half to see her. You can absolutely never schedule an appointment before you have anything else to do that entire day. Your entire day will be that appointment. Even if you are the first patient.She does not return phone calls. I do not have a thyroid, and my levels were off. I called for three weeks, at least eight times, and she will not return phone calls, which seems to be consistent with other reviews on here. She seems like a very nice person. However, as a Doctor, a medical professional who is in charge of a persons medical care, I would not recommend her whatsoever.

This was the worst DR i have ever seen in my life !! This women is totally incompetent doesn’t return phone calls for days … doesnt care about anyone ! She is not affiliated with any hospital also does not take any credit cards only cash or check . Make you wonder why ! actually called my friend who was her patient also , drunk on the phone!! Theirs a reason she only has 2 1/2 stars ! I feel bad for her staff !! They are the are all very caring and professional !Warning stay away and her off is old and dirty

This doctor is nice when you first see her, but NEVER calls back.

My 1st visit resulted in a positive outcome, I must also add that a follow up phone call with a medical question was not handled well by office staff, they bordered on rude and condescending. I'll chalk this up to a bad hair day. In no way will or does this impact my opinion of Dr Schwartz.

This Dr. is NOT attentive at all! 2 weeks they had my bloodwork and I had to track her down to go over them! Repeated office phone calls for meds that she was supposed to prescribe and never sent to my pharmacist! She most certainly does not care for her patients, perhaps established ones but definitely not new patients!

Dr Schwartz is one of the finest, thorough & understanding Dr. I’ve been to. She is tremendously knowledgeable & has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes the time needed with each & everyone of her patients. She truly cares about each & every one of them. Her staff is well trained & very polite. It’s a pleasure to have such a wonderful, trained dr in her field. I highly recommend her. She is one of the best !

She is simply the best. Found a growth on my ovary. I had surgery within the month. Ovarian cancer- she saved my life! The best doctor and a wonderful human being.

Dr. Karen Schwartz is a brilliant doctor. I’ve noticed her ratings do not reflect the true professional and caring doctor that she is. The reason being that she takes her time with each patient because she cares about each patient. That is why the wait is long to see her. In my opinion she is worth the wait! I recommend this doctor without reservation. There should be more doctors like her.

The wait time to see Dr. Schwartz is very long because she is a brilliant physician with an amazing bedside manner. She also doesn’t turn away new patients because she’s a caring doctor and clearly wants to help as many patients as she can. She is well worth the wait. I call in advance to ask the staff how long the wait will be and schedule my arrival accordingly. The staff has always been kind and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz.

I was referred to Dr. Schwartz by my primary and I can see why. The Dr. spent a considerable amount of time obtaining my history and issues in order to diagnose me. I found her to be knowledgeable and genuinely compassionate about my health concerns. Dr. Schwartz contacted me at home after hours to discuss my potential treatment. How many Dr’s do that these days? I would recommend her to anyone that needs an Endocrinologist.

She literally saved my life. Wonderful doctor!!
