She was very pleasant, caring, and informative. All of my questions were answered and she did not rush me. I will definitely recommend her.

If your concern isn't related to birth control, she seems uninterested in providing assistance. I felt like I had to argue just to get her to listen and address my concerns, and even then, I left with them unresolved.

Terrible bed side manners. Very snotty, and does not listen to your concerns will NOT go back to her! Left literally crying

She was wonderful. Her office got me right in. After my exam she sent me right to OSU Dr. So glad. She caught my pre-cancer.

Very caring, explains things to you in detail, takes her time with you and asks if you have questions. Very happy with her!

I love Dr Smith-Silone! I’ve been a patient of hers for 13 yrs. She is always so friendly & makes me feel comfortable. Her staff is also very friendly. I would highly recommend seeing her if you have any problems!!

Been going to her for some years now and she sort of makes me feel bad for not being on birth control (when I know it all makes me feel like crap by experience w/ several kinds). Condoms and abstinence work just fine for me but she seems to not like that very much. Recently I’d been in for a BV flare up I think due to my new outdoor summer job, and she did not seem interested or was even helpful when I had questions about it. The appt felt extremely rushed. It made me mad enough to not go back to her again.

Very rushed appointment after it started over 20 minutes late, would not have minded so much because I know the office is busy if she wasn't also entitled, snooty, not communicative, and generally seemed inconvenienced by my distress about being in horrific pain. When I asked about when I could expect to have the follow-up I need she tried to lecture me on being more patient after rushing my appointment instead of just telling me it would be sometime next week. Then I was told to go to "the hospital" for blood work and I had to stop her multiple times to get clarification on where to go and what I was even supposed to be asking for as she was trying to walk out of the door. The secretary was far more compassionate than the Dr., got me scheduled, explained what I needed to do, was comforting and offered me a tissue, Smith-Silone couldn't even do that much for the patient crying in pain in her room! Don't recommend... want a new gyno.

Very attentive, offered personal attention and multiple options for treatment. Answered questions thoroughly. Surgery went great. Aftercare was thorough. Appointments always run on time. Office staff is friendly and professional.

Dr. Smith-Silone was extremely friendly, professional, and enjoyable to talk to. I was worried about seeing her after reading some reviews, however, I was delightfully surprised about how well my appointment went. I just saw her for the second time to have an IUD placed and she went above and beyond. My mom came with me for support and Dr. Smith-Silone went as far to check in on my mom while she waited and updated her about how it went. I had a great experience with Dr. Smith-Silone and I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

I went to Dr. Smith-Silone for years. In April 2018, I found a lump in my breast and went to see her. She acted like it was nothing and told me to wait 6 weeks and come back. I didn't seem comfortable with that and went to my family doctor. Who recommended a biopsy which showed I have breast cancer. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Dr. Smith-Silone. I don't think it is wise to tell people with lumps to wait it out.

Very professional, I was nervous about my first appointment, but Dr. Smith-Silone made the appointment a breeze. She talked me through everything she was doing. Her staff was very nice and professional as well. They are the best.

The receptionist was late, so no one was there to sign me in when I arrived. The nurse acted like it wasn't her job. After my exam, Dr. Smith-Silone lectured me on my lack of libido when I brought it up (saying it's not fair to my husband) after the birth of my child and did not ask about my history with this problem or offer treatment. She talked over me during the entire visit, so I didn't feel comfortable asking. Also a large display for vag. rejuvenation was in the middle of the waiting room

Strongly do NOT recommend! If you need a decent human to be your doctor, and one with some skills too, then you won't find it with this one!

From my very first visit, I was so pleased. The receptionist was very friendly, the nurses were so nice that you felt like you'd been there many times before, and Dr Smith-Silone was very attentive, professional and eager to help me to understand the problems I was having. I watched the interaction between other patients with the staff as well. I can not say I have ever been to any doctor's office where everyone was so kind and caring with one another. I will most definitely recommend !!!!!!

I just had my first gynecologist appointment with Dr. Karen Smith-Silone. She was very nice and she answered all of my questions! Very easy to get in too.

Dr. Smith-Silone is one of the best doctors. She preformed my surgery and I have never felt better. She was very caring, and her staff went above and beyond to be helpful to me. I would recommend Karen Smith-Silone to anyone needing any on/gun care.

My impression: snobbish, entitled, selfish, and the worst part - a lousy doctor IMHO. Never felt she is a good person or even a caring person. Obviously - I would not recommend.

Dr. Smith-Silone always makes me feel comfortable, even at the gynecologist. She never seems rushed, but takes plenty of time to answer any questions.
