Dr. Karim Berty, DMD

I have been to Dr. Berty several times. The last time I had numerous teeth extracted. Due to drug allergies, pain control is difficult. I knew what I could take and asked for it and was not given it. I really suffered! I need more work done, but will not proceed without a scrip in my hand before I let him touch me again. The other 2 times were painless with the right pain med.

Dr Berty did everything possible to put me at ease for my upper molar extraction. I never felt any pain. What matters more than any of that!?! Nada! Stephanie B

This office gave an estimate of costs and told me that the medical insurance covered the costs minus my deductible. He is a contracted provider with Harvard pilgrim and was paid the agreed contracted rate. The office then billed my dental insurance the same amount as my medical (exhausting my yearly allowance!!!) after having already being paid their contracted rate with my medical. If the provider is contracted with an insurance they have no right to attempt to collect money ABOVE AND BEYOND their agreed contracted rate! A very dirty way to conduct business! Now I can’t use my dental insurance for preventative dental work because they exhausted our yearly allowance by balance billing. I am Totally disgusted. I would be very careful of doing business with this office!! If I could give zero stars I would!!

Dr Berty is the best ! He is compassionate he listens and he knows his stuff. I was so nervous but the moment I met him he put my nerves right at ease I knew ok this is the guy for my oral surgery (complicated wisdom tooth extraction). Him and all of his staff I give 5 stars .

I needed urgent care on a Friday and ended up contacting 3 other dental offices who were unable to see me that day. Dr. Berty brought me right in and he and his staff were incredibly friendly, patient, helpful, and respectful, even though I was very anxious and ashamed at my condition. I am so grateful for their amazing service, and appreciate so much that they are putting their own health at risk to help people during this pandemic. These are great people and I can't say enough great things about Dr. Berty and his whole staff.

Whoever gave one star is ridiculous. One star for the reason you stated? Dr Berty is amazing! He is so smart and explains everything. He actually cares about you as a person.

They will not give me my results over the phone

I was referred to Dr. Berty by my Entodontist who is a professor at Tufts. He said that he is the best and if his family needed care, he would send them to Dr. Berty. I had a very serious emergency infection and while he is a busy man, Dr. Berty took me right away and made me feel like the only patient in his office. Procedure required assistance from two of his nurses and it went extremely well. To top it off, he calls me at 9 pm at home to see how I am doing. Wow! World class.
