Dr is good, staff/coordinators are terrible
Sr Sallam came across as seasoned and professional, and was very systematic in communication and helping diagnose issues with my heart condition. However the coordinator and nurse staff is very poor in that clinic. I had to call 4 times on average before they call back, and keep dragging their feet on any appointments. for example it took me 8 months to finally get an appointment and meet Dr Sallam - they told me they will review and call back, and kept "reviewing" my case for 4 months. finally got appointment and then they called one day and rescheduled it to 3 more months later. another example - they said they will order a CT scan for me and i should expect to get a call back in one week to schedule. 6 weeks later, after trying 3 times, they still told me my order has not been placed in the system even when Dr. Sallam ordered it on my after visit. They even lied saying no nurse coordinator is working today (i called line an hour ago and was told the NC was busy with a patient)
What went well
  • Explained conditions well
  • Trusted the provider's decisions
What could be improved
  • Difficult to schedule appointment
  • Didn't listen or answer questions
  • Long wait times

Not only is he a very very good looking doctor, he took very good care of my husband. He showed a lot of compassion and understanding of my husbands health. When we finally left after two weeks my husband was very well, all I kept telling him was thank you for taking care of my husband. Did I also mention that he was good looking.
