So-so
My daughter has newly-diagnosed Crohns. We have been working with Marcy, who is Dr. Dunnigan's NP. Dr. Dunnigan has shown no interest in us, and we finally had some interactions with her recently when she did my daughter's colonoscopy. She arrived an hour late, and appeared annoyed when I said I had questions (which she answered as basically as she could). She said she is retiring this June which is definitely a good thing. I do not recommend her.

Too many issues to go into here, but she was nasty and has been withholding my electronic medical records for 2.5 years. The failure to provide the records electronically led to significant harm. Run.

Excellent Doctor
Dr.Dunnigan diagnosed my husband’s stage 3 colon/rectal cancer when three previous doctors couldn’t figure out what he was suffering from. I would very highly recommend her.

Avoid this doctor
I had a terrible experience with this doctor and her assistant. I had my colonoscopy screen last year. They spent 3.5 hours and removed some polyps and left some unremoved, I was told a further surgery is needed and need to make another schedule. I sent my results to other doctors and they are hard to believe it. I had my screen again this year and all polyps are removed without any issue. My only recommendation is to avoid this doctor and don't waste your money and time.

Stay away from her! I was her patient approx 10 years ago. I have colitis. The straw that broke the camels back was when I was having some rectal bleeding and she immediately started discussing Remicade-without even examining me or ordering any tests (turns out it was a hemmoroid). I found another provider. A couple years later I was in a practice where she was as well. My provider was heading into the room to see me and was stopped by her and said ‘she WILL see me at some point’-threatening me

Dr. Dunnigan is that rare doctor who really listens to her patients and never makes you feel hurried. She's very good at what she does and she does it with kindness and a sense of humor.
