I met Dr Kolbe for the first time last year and I’m so glad I did! Never met a doctor that actually pulled up a chair and sat and listened to all of my concerns. His bedside manner is everything I would hope for in a physician.

A family member swears by Dr. Kolbe. They feel he is an "old fashioned doctor" as a compliment. I strongly disagree. My relative had a head injury and they blacked out for a few seconds. Any other doctor would have ordered an MRI and a CT scan - stat. Kolbe took a conservative approach and just sent them home with a muscle relaxer and did no tests besides moving the head to the left and the right. Head injuries are serious! The lack of MRI missed soft tissue damage and my relative has had limited neck mobility that affects driving at times, "floaties" in their vision and more ever since that day and an ophthalmologist detected a detached retina. I get that sometimes doctors overtest, but wouldn't you jump in with two feet on a head injury? Isn't it better to do too many tests in rule out permanent damage? Let Kolbe retire. maybe he's fine if you are generally healthy, but if you have anything serious going on, find a doctor that is genuinely concerned

Dr. Kolbe is such a great doctor. He really took the time to listen to me and made me feel very comfortable. You can tell he really cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a PCP!

Today I was shamed by Dr Kolbe because I chose to see a different physician. I brought my blood work in for him to have in his records and discuss. He made fun of me having a Zinc test.."Oh everyone needs to have a zinc test " very sarcastically. Mine was actually quite low. When I mentioned that she had put me on Armour for my thyroid he threw the paperwork at me and said 'No Dr or Endocrinologist will ever prescribe that', and walked out of the room! I've never felt better since switchin
