Great! She is thorough and very engaging. I will miss her. The best GYN I've had-Unfortunately my insurance plan has changed and she is not in my network. Yes she is direct and I admire that. She cares! And that shows in the advice she shares and gives. She does a comprehensive physical exam.

I saw Dr. Taber because I needed a second opinion on painful periods. I never mentioned to her that I have a masters degree and am a working professional, so she talked to me like a young idiot who didn't know anything. I will say that she is nice; however, she is not a good listener and thinks she knows your body better than you know your own. She suggested a remedy for me that kept me in constant pain (IUD placement, not her fault that my body didn't like it). When I told her it gave me terrible pain, she insisted that the pain was from an ovarian cyst, which I knew it was not bc Ive always had ovarian cysts and they never hurt. It took 3 weeks for me to convince her to take it out. After it was removed, the pain stopped and she still wouldn't admit that it was the iud giving me pain. Ffwd, I had a laparoscopy w/ another specialist and was diagnosed with Stage IV Endometriosis. Dr. Taber never suggested endo to me, never offered any additional remedies for pain besides birth control.

Dr. Taber is indeed blunt and straight to the point. However, she is a very compassionate person and gets the job done. She makes sure you take all the necessary tests in order to make you better or whole. She is very knowledgeable and always suggests the best steps for you. When it comes to paps and other office procedures, she really takes her time. She also follows up quickly. Trust me, you will get a phone call or email as soon as something is right or wrong. This shows that she really cares about you. I like her style.

Dr. Taber was my GYN from 2014 - 2017. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I respect that. I read two reviews here calling her condescending. I think the total opposite. Dr. Taber is extremely compassionate and she puts YOUR HEALTH first. I suffered from PCOS for 22years with different specialists. Dr. Taber did her research and came up a treatment regimen that has made my quality of life so much better. Yes, she was blunt with me regarding my weight but she basically saved my life!

There is not enough room to express how awful my visit was. The word condescending isn't a strong enough word to describe this woman. She talked at me and not to me. She talked about my body as if it were some disgusting thing. She made me bleed during a pap smear. She told me I should take prenatal vitamins because I would be pregnant soon. There's so much more, but basically, this woman should not be in a job that deals with people No wonder her calendar is open, she can't keep patients.

Dr. Taber provided more compassion and information than any other OB/GYN doctor I have seen. She does a comprehensive physical exam.

My experience with Dr. Taber was the worst experience I've had at a doctors office. I had my very first Gyn visit with her. I felt she was very condescending and degrading she spoke to me like I was uneducated. She seemed very disengaged and not compassionate. She repeatedly said you have a lot of issues even if that was true you shouldn't convey that to the patient before knowing the facts. left that visit very uneasy. I went back to her 3 weeks later To get my lab results. Everything was no
