This review has nothing to do with the doctor. I’m sure she’s fabulous. This has to do with the clinic, their schedulers, and their work flows. I had a referral sent close to a month ago. I’ve called 5 different times and 3 of those calls high priority messages were sent to the clinic for “clarification” and told that I’d get a call back. I’ve never once received a call back despite it being “high priority.” I’ve had a referral sent in twice in this timespan from both my PCP and Rheumatologist and yet getting a call back within a month seems to be a challenge. Working in healthcare, a high priority can be expected to get a call back within 3 hours and 1 business day. Non-urgent calls usually within 24-48 hours sometimes up to 72 hours. So I initially allowed a week for my first call to wait for a call back. This is poor practice and equally poor expectations.
