Dr. Katherine Donaldson, MD

My 1st visit with the Dr and she was excellent. Took extra time to when I had some questions and explained them to me.

Dr Donaldson was very kind. You feel like she really cares about you. She was very helpful I was very nervous. She never acted like I was wasting her time she is a wonderful doctor

There should be a choice above "very good" I would pick that overtime for Dr. Donaldson. If every experience I have had in the past with other doctors was like this one I had with Dr. Donaldson, I honestly believe I would not have a fear of going to the clinic.

Dr Donaldson is a great provider. I'm so happy I'm going to her. She goes thro your labs etc before your visit. She listens and asks about any concerns. You never feel rushed when you see her. She makes sure you don't have any questions before you leave. She takes care of you as a whole person not just what you came in for. I'm very pleased I found a physician I'm comfortable with and trust.

I have only been seen by Dr. Donaldson one time, but I will be returning. As many women know, it is hard to find a doctor that actually believes you when you say something is not right. And after so many bad experiences (medical trauma) with doctors in this region, I was skeptical to make an appointment with anyone. But my problems needed attention and Dr. Donaldson listened and acted on everything I told her. I feel like such a valued human being.

Dr. Donaldson was not my initial OB that I'd been doctoring with during my pregnancy. I had been doctoring in Duluth for quite some time and expected a planned cesarean there. However, I started seeing some signs of preeclampsia and felt I should have them checked out. I was admitted at the hospital in Virginia, MN where my parents lived to do what I'd thought would be some blood work but ended up being an unexpected delivery. She held true to my birth plan and kept me calm the entire time. She held off delivery until my SO and the father of the baby could be present. I loved her bedside manner and genuine care and compassion throughout my whole experience. She's my main OB/gynecologist from now on.
