Dr. Katherine Johnston, MD

Dr. Johnston has been our pediatrician for almost 15 years. I am VERY satisfied with her and I have nothing but good things to say about her, her knowledge, her ability to make kids feel comfortable... and on and on. I would definitely recommend her.

We brought our daughter in for facial pain and Dr. Johnston was already tracking with past medical history of sinus infection. She also suggested a referral to ENT and a sleep study based off past medical history. Not only that, she saw us the same day we called (and it was the day after Christmas of all days!). She is extremely knowledgeable and helps to educate. She has never talked down to me and always makes me feel heard! She has been treating my daughter since birth and I feel so lucky to have found her.

We absolutely love her! She has been my son’s doc for all 14 years he’s been alive and she is just the best. I left a more thorough review on Google. I had to go read the 1 star because I’m curious like that. She has NEVER come off pompous and Dr. Johnston is the furthest from an imbecile you can find. She is smart and if she doesn’t know an answer she’ll find it.

Dr. Johnston is easily one of the best physicians I've encountered and I trust her with my child's health, safety, and wellbeing.

I brought my son in for a suspected infection. She did a thorough review of his recent health with questions and exam. Wrote a Rx, but also provided a drug free preventative treatment plan if we see this headed in the direction of an infection in the future. I am thankful to have her as our children’s pediatrician.

Dr Johnston goes above and beyond! She truly cares about her patient. You can tell she is sincere and takes the time to look into her patient record to come up with the best “plan”. I am so glad we found her.

Dr. Johnston has been very helpful in caring for my complicated kiddos. She listens to my concerns and is open to new ideas and ways of looking at things. There is a large age gap between my older children and newborn. She has been very helpful at reminding me of all the things I had forgotten about this stage, listening to my concerns, and telling me what to watch for and expect in the months coming up. I trust her judgement.

Dr. Johnston has been pediatrician to my children for 13 years. She sees all three od my kiddos and I don't know what I would do without her! We are always seen in a timely manner and she explains very well what to expect at their different stages of development, takes the time to listen to concerns and answer questions, and is always so kind and playful with the kids. We are so blessed to have her as our pediatrician!

Dr. Johnston has been our pediatrician for the last (almost) 7 years. I have an almost 7 year old, 3 year old, and a 10 month old. She has been wonderful for getting to the bottom of illnesses and sending us to specialists for anything outside of her scope of care. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

Dr J has been my children’s pediatrician since their births. Nothing but exemplary care has been my experience. She is thorough, knowledgeable and attentive to any issues - from growth and development to unexpected illnesses. We have developed a wonderful relationship in that I feel she understands my priorities as a mother and addresses them, even if I might be a bit overly anxious. Dr J presents ideas and concerns in a way that is non judgmental but pointed to find out what’s really going on. She feels like more of a trusted friend than a clinical doctor. In fact, if I lived in the same town, I’d probably ask her to mom friend lunch. Lol. I know without a doubt that she has my children’s best interests at heart…and that’s priceless.

So thankful, she was great and has been with all our family for years. She is trusted with our families kids!

Amazing! My daughter has Trisomy 21 and she has handled all of her needs and extra doctors appointments, has stayed current on what tests she needs at what ages, and has respected And backed My every choice with how to raise her with her extra needs. I’d recommend her to any child with a disability, and the care coordinators there make everything perfect and keep every doctor and therapist on the same page, making My job way easier as I can just be a parent! 10/10 recommend!

Dr Johnston has been my child's pediatrician for 10+ years. We couldn't be happier with her and the team at Siskiyou Pediatrics! Dr Johnston has been a tireless investigator and advocate as we faced medical challenges. We always received the necessary medical tests and referrals without a struggle. Our family is treated with respect by everyone at the clinic. And we never have a problem getting in to see the doctor in a timely fashion.

Kat has been my children's pediatrician for 6 years and we love her. She spends an hour with the kids for their annuals and is aware of all of their periodic medical needs and issue. For example my son had to go to the hospital for a bee string and when we went into the office a few days later for our followup Kat was up to date on everything that had gone on in the ER. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful.

Both of children have been seeing her since they were born (Now 6&8) She is wonderful, always patient and the office has always been able to get me in the same day if it is an emergency!

Horrible Dr. Called CPS on us after giving wrong diagnosis and we went to another hospital. Shame on you! STAY AWAY!!!
