I had a large laceration to my leg (a deep gapping laceration) and was concerned that it would be very prone to infection. The doctor did a GREAT job in ensuring that this deep and wide laceration was fully closed up, and taking the time it needed to do the procedure correctly. She also fully explained to me the additional risk for infection with a wound of this type and made the necessary arrangements for me to see the St. Luke's Wound Care specialist as a needed follow-up (especially that I am compromised with diabetes). She took her time to do the procedure correctly and full explained to me the process to be followed. She did a great job in taking care of me!
