Dr. Katherine Overton, MD

Saw her late last year for some small, abnormal growths (which turned out to be Vestibular papillomatosis after std results from another doctor, came back negative) First thing, she came into the room and complaining about having to come in on a Saturday because she was hungover.. she knew she had to come in a week prior, its her job.Then AFTER she put gloves on, she started itching her scalp and touching her face?!I'm shy and anxious so I didn't say anything at first, but she was going to touch down there with unclean gloves. How gross and unprofessional.She also made me spread my labia myself? so i dont know what the purpose of the gloves were, but another show of unprofessionalism. She then had one look at the growths and told me I had Herpes, with no testing. I cried after I left, thankfully I decided to get a second opinion following my gut, and saw another female doctor there.Katherine should not still be employed, beyond disrespectful and commits mult mal-practices.

In 2018 I had the unfortunate chance of having her as my 'Dr.' when I was pregnant. She walked in and immediately told me I was too overweight to have kids and the entire visit she belittled me for being overweight and said I would not produce a healthy child. She is not a small woman herself, mind you, but I was too in shock and hurt to say anything so I just nodded and couldn't wait to get to my car to cry. I immediately called and complained and asked to be switched to a different doctor. Fast forward 2024 and my grandmother has the unfortunate chance of getting her as her OB and the same belittlement and embarassing comments to my grandpa about my grandmothers weight happened. How this hateful and mean woman practiced this long is beyond me but I am glad to read her Karma for her hateful self has caught up. She should be revoked permanently.

Dr Overton is currently NOT a doctor anymore because her negligence sent a newborn to ICU. I highly recommend anyone who saw her, lawyer up ASAP. It's time to start making these terrible doctors reap the consequences of playing Judge,Jury and EXECUTIONER in Ms. Overton's case.

I visited dr.overton for the first time to get my gbs test done at 37 weeks pregnant and was not pleased with her as a dr. i sat in the room for almost an hour undressed and uncomfortable waiting for her to come in. when she finally came in her greeting was non existent.. she didn’t greet me or even introduce herself to me. i’m not one to judge… but her physical presentation was very unprofessional as well. She was very standoffish and awkward towards me making me feel weird and uncomfortable the whole time. after the swabbing was done, she didn’t give me a chance to ask any questions or say anything at that, she immediately walked out of the room. very strange experience for a drs visit. all my other obgyn’s that i have seen have been welcoming and friendly.. dr overton was quite the opposite and i would not recommend.

makes me feel less of myself and is very rude, thinks she can be all in my personal life try’s to shame me for my sex life. very very unhappy with her being a doctor in the valley ! undermines other doctors as well! rushes me when being seen so she can go eat lunch when she’s the one being LATE and not on time.

My kids were ready to be delivered on Dr. Overton’s Birthday. She had the day off. She came in to the hospital on her day off when she hears I was ready to deliver my babies. She is a wonderful doctor. My twins were delivered safe and sound thanks to Dr. Overton!

My experience with her was awesome i am sad that i have to switch my GYN, OB. due to her health issues i love her she always explained me everything about my pregnancy what i should be doing and shouldn't be doing.
