Dr. Katherine Parodi, DPM

I can barely get the mental strength to post how poorly we were treated here. Zero compassion and condescending during the visit. Surgery fail and then the next doctor pointed out exactly what is wrong now we go back and spends a few more thousands to get thw foot actually fixed.

I do not recommend Dr. Katherine Parodi or Pinnacle Foot and Ankle Clinic. On my first visit I waited in the exam room for 45 minutes before Dr. Parodi came in, but the following happened regarding my surgery(s). My first surgery with Dr. Parodi was delayed more than two weeks because her staff did not request preauthorization from UHC until the day before the surgery. This was very disruptive to MY planning. I chose a date for my second surgery with nearly 8 weeks between notification and date of surgery. I contacted Dr. Parodi’s office 4, 3, and 2 weeks prior to the surgery, so I would not have the same issue as the first. My surgery was scheduled for the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The preauthorization request was sent on the Friday before Thanksgiving (two weekends and two days of holiday). This allowed for four days of review and approval by UHC. There was an issue; and the day before surgery, UHC denied the surgery because the information submitted was incorrect. If Parodi’s office had submitted the request in October or earlier in November, any issues could have been resolved.

Dr Parodi is great! She is very kind and knowledgeable. Her staff is helpful and they made me feel comfortable while I was there.

Dr Parodi is fantastic, knowledgeable, gentle, and very competent. I look forward to a long time before i will ever need work on my toenails. Thanks!

Dr. Parodi, was caring, listened and gave me some great ideas on how to treat pain and problems with a foot that had 2 previous surgeries 15 years ago. Even if you don't have the insurance for this doctor it is well worth seeing her to get some great options. I was so lucky to have found her.

Dr. Parodi is very knowledgeable and provided multiple treatment options during my first visit. She did not pressure me to choose any option and provided me with enough information to make an informed decision.

I found this provider thru the insurance website and was unsure of what to expect. She is amazing. I couldn't of asked for better care and explanation on what was going on and what was needing to be done. We were so unsure of what was going on when we came in and she took the time to explain what was happening.

Dr Parodi is a very caring and extremely knowledgeable podiatrist and wound care specialist/ I have been her patient for many years and can give as many examples of this, but no need to bore you with details. I find the care given, the knowledge shared and going beyond the boundaries of her specialty wonderful. Her staff also deserves praise as well. Knowledgeable, welcoming and very helpful. I have had medical issues for over 40 years and have encountered many doctors. Dr. Parodi and staff are at the top of my list as the best!

I was in a really difficult situation, having hurt my foot just days before a long trip out of town where I will be doing lots of walking. Even though I was a new patient, Dr. Parodi made time to see me the same day that I called. She diagnosed my issues and gave me a clear explanation using x-rays. She took care of my issue and also gave me a lot of helpful information about my foot type, including a list of footwear that would best work for me. Her office staff was also fantastic to work with. I will definitely come back here for any future foot issues.

Dr. Parodi is not only excellent and efficient at her work, but she's also simply an enjoyable person. During my ingrown toenail procedure, we wound up chatting the whole time about all sorts of things. She was very willing to answer all of my questions-- even those that weren't related to my visit, and were just because of pure curiosity. All in all, definitely someone I trust my toes to!
