Dr. Katherine Wehlage, MD

First time visit with Dr. Wehlage. My mother recommended her to me and she wasn't wrong. Dr. Wehlage spent a lot of time assessing my condition, had a lot of empathy, and encouraged me to look into a few new options without being pushy. That is typically my number one complaint is that doctor's in my case quickly come to some judgment that there is a new medication and that I just have to follow their advice and script if i'm going to take care of myself and that just is not the case. REALLY appreciated Dr. Wehlage's approach.

Dr. Wehlage is the best. She is warm, kind, and easy to talk to which makes the appointment automatically so much more comfortable. I had a procedure that I was dreading and I would not have wanted to have any other doctor perform it. She made me feel so comfortable and walked me through the entire thing. She makes fun conversation. She is ridiculously smart and I fully trust her opinion and recommendations and she makes sure you leave with no further questions or doubts! Would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Wehlage came into the room with a big welcoming smile and then proceeded to quickly and professionally take care of my problem. I felt very at ease. She obviously knew what she was doing.

Dr. Wehlage has a very personal, professional and compassionate touch within her. I feel honored to have her (and her expertise) for my dermatological needs She is simply awesome!!

Commitment bias is not dangerous because a doctor sees what they want to see. Commitment bias is dangerous when a doctor thinks what they see is all there is to see. In other words, at least in my experience this doctor does not apply commonly accepted medical standards to reach a diagnosis. She and her staff either do not listen or distort what they see or hear to backload data to fit their own narrative not this patient’s narrative. True to be best of my knowledge. I was concerned over an unusual mole and DrWehlage calmed my anxiety. She is very knowledgeable and I will return to her clinic the next time I have concerns.

I am african-america and had an odd blotch that appeared on my face. I scheduled an appt with Dr. Wehlage. The Office was beautiful and clean and the staff friendly. Dr. Wehlage was nice and had a warm disposition. She rushed through our appointment speaking really fast which made it difficult to understand what she was describing. When I asked questions, she did answer but I left feeling uncertain whether she adequately addressed my issue and confused about how to use the medicine she prescribed.
