I LOVE Dr. Westra she listens and takes her time with me every time I see her. I feel comfortable knowing that she will take great care of me. She has a very warm and compassionate demeanor. I highly recommend as a Physician

Dr. Westra is an amazing doctor and thoroughly explains everything.

Unfortunately Dr. Westra, who sounds perfect for me, is not accepting new patients. I find it disturbing, though, that this website says "MD" in her title, yet states "She graduated from OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY / COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE in 2010. " You might want to correct that!

I had went to see a couple of specialist, with different tests results, that I had been referred by Dr. Westra. I had went to discussed those tests results, as well as prescription renewals. Dr. Westra took the time to explain treatment options and how I might help and improve my health. I have found Dr. Westra to be a great family physician, she has always taken her time to provide me with the best care possible, considering the different physical problems that I have to deal with. Dr. Westra has been able to explain and help me find the best course of action to improve my life.

I’ve been fighting a sinus infection which I let go too long and got a double ear infection and a swollen lymph node under my jaw. Dr. Westra, came into the room and introduced herself and her apprentice, which I was asked if it was okay for an apprentice to be in the room as well. We had a short conversation while she was diagnosing the problems and then I was on my way. Within two days my symptoms were noticeably getting better. If it wasn’t, I had the ability to reach out to her through the My Chart app; which means the world to a Over-the-road Truck Driver.

During my annual Wellness Visit, Dr. Westra asked many questions, took notes, referred to previous notes, gave me a thorough examination, and, as always, is very caring and kind. This means a lot to an 84-year old.

Every time I see Dr. Westra, she is extremely attentive to what’s going on, my concerns, etc. she is very knowledgeable, has great response time (thru MyChart),and at the end of the day/each visit, I know that I’m being taken care of. I wish every Dr I’ve ever had had the same professional courtesy and overall caring nature of Dr. Westra. Absolutely recommend.

Dr. Westra takes the time to understand your concerns, then clearly explains how she can help. She seems to care about the whole person, not just the specific medical problem. She doesn’t rush through a visit, and asks helpful questions. She doesn’t push extra medications, and explains any pros and cons of treatment. I trust her to always do her best for me.

Absolutely wonderful and caring Doctor. If she can't find the answer, she refers you to someone with the right answer. Her nurse Carla is also wonderful.A great team.

Dr. Westra is a wonderful caring doctor. She takes the time to listen, she does not rush you thru your visit. She really cares about you. Nurse Carla is just as wonderful. I highly recommend her.

This was my first experience to a doctor in years and I was anxious. Doctor Westra not only made me feel comfortable, but the entire staff was attentive, friendly and very courteous to my personal needs. One visit was enough for me to feel comfortable with whatever service I required. I felt confident about discussing personal issues and was treated well enough that all my anxiety replaced itself with positive outlook, and higher awareness about my health. Thankyou so much...... these things to me are among the most difficult and personal!!
