Dr. Wex was the anesthesiologist during my surgery to remove a liposarcoma from my abdomen. She was professional and thoroughly explained everything that would take place. I didn’t experience any of the harsh effects of anesthesia and the pain blockers she gave me worked. I required minimal pain management and felt so well, I was able to leave the hospital in 3 days (my choice). The Main Line healthcare team was top notch and I would come here again for any surgery beyond the capabilities of my local surgeon

I was quite apprehensive about getting a spinal block for surgery because of a very bad past experience. Dr. Wex was very understanding, and assured me that she would make sure I had no problem this time. She was very personable and confident, and the fact that she actually smiled while she spoke with me was a huge help. Everything went off without a hitch, and I know where to go should I need a spinal block ever again.
