Falsified my medical record after failure of care.
Dr Winter was monitoring my thyroid, but doing so ineptly. Had repeated hypothyroidism followed by hyperthyroidism. She did NOT check to make sure levothyroxine doses were appropriate for me. They rarely were. After failing to adjust meds after a high TSH test, she went on pregnancy leave, came back and falsified my medical records saying she had done all kinds of testing (I was REALLY REALLY SICK W hyperthyroidism by then) but testing at John Muir is by Labcorp and their records show she did NOT do what she put in my medical record. She LIED to cover herself and get away with almost killing me. Do NOT under any circumstances go see this doctor. Proof is in emperical data- no Testing! SAVE YOURSELF!

She is one of the top doctors I've ever had
I am a senior now. I am very particular and have had several doctors. When a doctor behaves unprofessionally, I leave them. Dr. Winters has always been kind, respectful (even when I refuse certain tests and treatments), knowledgeable and professional. She is so popular that she no longer accepts new patients. That says a lot.

Awful. Terrible bedside manner. Lacks empathy.
***NEGATIVE ZERO STARS*** She put false information into my medical history based off of personal assumptions and opinions. She also quoted me in her notes completely wrong and out of context. Due to her diagnosing me with something I have never had, I am now having issues removing this from MyChart and it is on display in my diagnosis list for every new doctor I see. This is one of the first things to pop up when a doctor pulls me up and now I have to explain it each time and hope they believe me over her. Also avoid Michelle Cleary at this same location. Also avoid NP Elizabeth Cleary at this same location.
