We have been seeing Dr. Bethin for four years now. She is knowledgeable and always takes the time to listen to the patient and parents. She helps us find resources in the community, if needed and even calls at home to update us on my son’s care.

if you are a trans youth DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR
i went to dr. bethin for hrt. she had me answer the basic questions and fill out the forms that i needed too and then i had my prescription for testosterone. when i went to go pick it up from the pharmacy, my script was canceled by her WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. her office never sent me an email or gave me a call to let me know they were doing that. i had to find that out from the pharmacist. when i returned to her offices for the last time, she informed me that she didn’t wanna fill my prescription because i was “too angry” and “testosterone would only make it worse.” then she proceeded to bad mouth my therapist (the guy that recommended her to me in the first place!!!) and insisted that i get a new one. i don’t know how she does with non-trans healthcare but, if you’re transgender and need hormones, go to anyone else.
