Dr. Kathleen Thompson, DO

Dr. Thompson has been an incredible OB and support throughout my pregnancy. I have literally questioned every symptom I have experienced and Dr. Thompson has been there for me via phone and office visits to provide reassurance without judgement. She is always calm, cool and collected and is so personable. She is so knowledgable and relays all pregnancy information in a understanding manner. Her kindness and compassion are manifested through her commitment to her patients. Dr. Thompson is the best doctor I have ever had and I trust her wholeheartedly with delivering my baby. I look forward to every office visit. She is one of a kind-love her!

Although this was my first visit with Dr Thompson I knew I had found someone knowledgeable, caring and special. I have had several gynecological issues over the years and have seen several specialists in this field. Having moved from Boston to Florida I have been in search of a gynecologist that could fill some big shoes. I went for advice on post menopausal issues. She listened, asked questions about my medical background, answered my questions and gave advice. I was not rushed through the appointment. She was very knowledgeable about hormone replacement (compounding) as well as many other issues. She had a great bedside manner and a pleasure to meet with. I strongly recommend Dr Thompson for all your gynecological issues. I left their feeling so much better knowing that I found someone I felt comfortable with who was also great in her field. A very special doctor who found her niche.

Just had my baby boy with Dr Thompson. After seeing her for 8+ months-I’m actually going to miss our visits! She was always easy to talk, listened to me and my delivery could not have gone better! Had to work my schedule around making an appointment once or twice-but that’s the price you pay to see the best OB in town!

Dr Thompson is amazing! Completely down to earth and easy to talk with. Always returns my calls within a day or two and makes me feel as if my concerns are valid. No other OB I would see in South Florida.

After reading many phenomenal reviews I was excited to see Dr. Thompson and or Michelle Harsh. I called the glades office and got hung up on three times after abruptly being told to hold. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. It’s a shame because I was willing to wait until March or April for the nearest available. Unfortunately due to my experience with the lady on the phone I will not be going in. Truly disappointed.

Dr T and her staff are amazing. She is the best OB there is. She made my 1st pregnancy and delivery so calming and easy! Love her and highly recommend her!

Receptionists are extremely rude. I called for a new patient appointment and receptionist explained in a very dismissive tone that the doctor doesn’t have appointments until April. I said that’s totally fine. Then she asked “are you pregnant?” And I said yes- then she said the doctor isn’t taking any new pregnancy patients. She was about to hang up and I quickly asked when the doctor would be able to take new pregnancy patients and she replied in a very rude tone “ I don’t know- whenever the doctor says”. Then she hung up. I didn’t get a chance to ask if there was a wait list or anything. I wanted to have Kathleen as my doctor because my sister is a patient of hers and had very nice things to say, but I’m very disappointed in the way I was treated.

Her professionalism, knowledge and kindness are so apparent. The staff is helpful and understanding as well. I know I can rely on her medical advice and knowledge and that I won't be rushed through an appointment. Absolutely the best.

Tried to make an appointment- the receptionist lied and Dr. Thompson was unwilling to assist in getting timely mammogram due to her travel plans. Unprofessional and dangerous to women.

I moved to Georgia in 2014, I had been seeing Dr. Thompson years prior to moving. She is so wonderful that I make a yearly vacation/trip to Florida just so I can have my annual with her. That sounds extreme, but when you find a great doctor... you’ve got to suck with them. She is the absolute best!

Her office staff is so professional and accommodating, especially with all of my office visits and having a toddler with me! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thompson- she is AMAZING! So professional, easy going, and punctual. Most of all, patient! My VBAC was by far the best experience of my life and I credit much of it to her patience with me and really listening to me during my pregnancy. During labor she was so calm and coached me through it at the end. I highly recommend her!!

I higher recommend Doctor Thompson, She is Pleasant, Easy to deal with, and very supportive The staff are so very friendly as well.

Dr. Thompson was so down to earth, I have never had a doctor like her before. I hate going to the OB GYN, and she almost made me forget I was there! The front office staff is so helpful, I had to reschedule several times and they were very accommodating. I have a higher co-pay to see her vs. another doctor, but I was so comfortable with her, I will gladly pay more out of pocket to have such a great doctor. I have already recommended her to a couple co-workers.

She is AMAZING! Dr. Thompson is so friendly and easy to approach. She makes you feel so cared about and comfortable. I love having her as my doctor and feel at ease with my pregnancy thanks to her care. What I think is amazing about her is that she remembers me, remembers our previous conversations and really listens to my preferences. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great OB!

No doctor quite like her. You will never second guess your choice once you make her your obgyn. She always surpasses my expectations. She is absolutely wonderful. Cant sing enough praises of her. God bless her.

As a new mother I can say all my worries went out the window when I met Dr, Thompson. She has been there for me every step of the way through my entire pregnancy and labor. Dr. Thompson expresses general concern for her patients. Talking to her is like talking to a close friend. She is a trustworthy doctor. She is also practical and explains things clearly and in detail.
