Dr. Kathleen Young, MD

Dr. Young is the only Dr that failed diagnosing my migraines/prescribing migraine specific meds. Agitated, she recommended an over the counter med to be taken at onset. Later, she scoffed 'I have seen a lot of bad livers,' when I had taken this precise med. Living in chronic, intense pain under her care, she's right, I would likely have a damaged liver. Rather than ask appropriate questions concerning family migraine history and triggers, she asked whether I was married. When I replied no, she said 'Awe'. WTH? I have since married and, believe you me, the migraines haven't evaporated. While Drs since have varied in efficacy, they do recognize a migraine. Dr Y is poorly versed in treating this disabling condition, and her views are archaic at best. I sincerely hope she factors patients' quality of life by referring them to neurologists. Believe me, this condition requires more than take 2, get married and call me in the a.m.

While she was a Alaska Senior Health Care and my doctor she was excellent. I have complex medical history and she was always on it and provided me with extremely fantastic health care needs. We worked excellent together. If you want an excellent doctor she’s your go to.

I would love to locate Dr Case-Young’s new practice. I was her patient several years at AK SR Health Care. She’s my favorite Dr by far. Wish I could locate her new practice

Dr. Case has been my doctor for quite some time even when she was at primary care. when she went to the senior Health Clinic I was one happy lady, because I knew I wanted her for my doctor there. she is one sweet lady she really cares for her patients. I have gotten excellent care form her so now my heart is broken. It's going to be adjustment me knowing I want be her patient anymore. Dr. Case you will be missed and I wish you all the best.

Dr. Case and her staff are always cordial and very professional. She is easy to talk to and explains things clearly.

It has been our good fortune to have Dr. Case as the primary care physician for both myself and my wife for a number of years through the Alaska Regional Medicare Clinic. We also had Dr. Case as our primary care doctor when we had private insurance, before we aged out and became covered by medicare. She is attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, caring and personable physician that I been privileged to have looking after my health care needs. I commend her for efforts in training the next generation

I started going to Dr Case in 2013. I see Dr Case approximately 5-6 times per yr. My last visit was three weeks ago and like my previous visits, this one was also very positive. I was promptly seen, Wezzie, the RN, the front office staff and lab person are super nice and helpful. Lab work was ordered and done and results were promptly conveyed to me by phone and posted to my chart. Additional tests were done & results were promptly posted to my chart. I highly recommend Dr Case and clinic staff.

I have been going to this clinic for several years. The staff and drs. All provide first class service. I am very satisfied with this clinic.

Dr. Kathleen Case is my doctor for life, she hears me, is thorough and detail oriented, makes sure I stay on a good health path and doesn’t let me get away with anything. You can bet I’m going to get a follow up call if I haven’t responded to a request in a timely manner. She digs deep to find solutions to health problems or present a different option to consider. If you want a doctor that is brilliant, cares deeply about your health and you as a person make an appointment with Dr. Case.

Dr. Case has been my primary care physician since she came on board the AK Regional Medicare Clinic. I have found her to be knowledgeable, efficient, and compassionate. ( It takes a special person to deal with the issues of the elderly in a way that shows respect and concern.) I really appreciate the fact that I am treated with that respect and dignity. I feel that she listens to my concerns, offers sound advice, yet allows me to make my own decisions. Five stars, Dr.Case!
