Dr. Kathlyn Kim, MD

I’ve seen Dr. Kim twice for routine examinations. She was rushed both times, took little interest in discussing my questions (perimenopause) and offers little in the way of expertise.After having to have a repeat mammogram, I received an abrupt note along the lines of “dense breasts; most likely nothing; repeat in 6 months.” No call, no explanation.Final straw: I call in with a request for an antibiotic for a UTI. After not hearing from the office for over 24 hours, I call back and am only then told I would have to come in. Why didn’t anyone let me know that on day 1? Instead, a patient was left to suffer?I’m done with this office and this “doctor.” All trust lost.

I had an awful experience with her office and getting my pap smear and other records sent to my GP. Also, they were very disorganized once they moved and did not let their patients know they were moving. I was bleeding heavily and attempted to make an appointment and the office was not responsive. Will never go back. I changed to Dr. Michael Faust in Ramsey.

I really liked Dr. Kim a lot. She was gentle, explained well, asked the right questions. Staff was friendly and wait was relatively short.

Dr. Kim rushed me, seemed completely uninterested in hearing about my symptoms, and gave me no information on what tests she was performing. I will not be seeing her again. When I tried describing my symptoms to Dr. Kim, she consistently interrupted me, and at one point, she actually responded, "there are doctors you can see about that." I'd like to say I'm getting a second opinion elsewhere, but I don't even know what the first opinion was, because Dr. Kim gave me no information. This experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and taken a huge toll on my mental health. I cannot remember a worse experience with a healthcare provider. I had to take an unpaid day off work to be rushed, ignored, and treated like my health is not important.

Dr. Kim is an outstanding clinician with excellent bedside manner.

Patient is never rushed. Office is well run and takes patient on time. Dr Kim is wonderful, takes her time with each patient, is caring and diligent.

Dr. Kim is a gem! She is on time for appointments and really takes the time to talk to you and more importantly get to know you. I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Kim during my exam.. Dr. Kim is professional. experienced and knowledgeable but also personable. Her staff is very nice and helpful . It was easy to schedule an appointment and follow-up was most appreciated!

Very little time spent in waiting room. I like when my time is valued. Dr Kim and her staff were very thorough with explaining tests and medications.

Dr. Kim is patient and answers all questions thoroughly. I have never felt rushed during my appointments. Her staff is very nice also. The fact that it is one of the small, more personal offices left in the medical community is a bonus. My wait times are always less than 10 minutes.

Dr. Kim has been the best gynecologist I've seen. I came to her for a 2nd opinion, and she diagnosed a major issue (that required surgery) that my previous gyno completely misdiagnosed. Dr. Kim was the surgeon for my operation, as well, which was extremely comforting. She was there the moment I woke up and checked in often. Dr. Kim is both compassionate and knowledgeable. I always feel like I have her uninterrupted time to ask questions. I would highly, highly recommend!

During the pandemic, the office staff tried their best to remain communicative and compassionate. Challenging. I have been seeing Kathy Kim for over a decade and completely trust her judgment and experience. I would gladly refer others to her care.
