Dr, Kathryn Hale saved my brothers life. Reed Powers had surgery in the late 1980's to secure his spine with harrington rods...from post polio syndrome....he was on a vent for 90 days and hospitalized for 100 days...2 steps forward and 1 step back! Probably the challenge of her life....he was able to get married and lived longer than anyone could imagine. Reed was heart broken when he heard the news that she was leaving Minneapolis and moving to Texas...he believed she kept him from. dieing...
