Dr. Kathryn Jackson, DO

This office will not put the care of your child above their scheduling. My son was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency by Dr Tollefson who was wonderful. Dr Jackson took over and so we stayed. We accidentally missed a check up appointment, the first one in 5 years we have ever missed. Rather than the office calling to let us know or warn us they could not refill the medicine, Dr Jackson refused the refill without informing us. I called the office, and they told me about the missed appointment. I completely understood, scheduled but they didn’t have availability until June. I apologized for our mistake and asked if we could have the shot refilled until we saw her. I called two more times, no response. I called again to ask to leave a message for Dr Jackson, they said she had no voicemail. I asked if there were side effects to stopping the meds abruptly and would the doctor call?about her decision to punish my child’s health for our mistake. I never heard from Dr Jackson directly.

I love Dr. Jackson! She is very attentive, thorough, and she has an excellent bedside manner! I saw her for diabetes management and she seems to really understand that everyone will need a custom treatment plan, and that not one diabetic will be like the other. If you're looking for a skilled, friendly peds endo, then Dr. Jackson might just be the doctor for you!

Dr Jackson takes her time with patients and is very thorough in explaining treatment methods.
