Impressive upon meeting. She is uncaring and is in and out of room on follow up.- if you have complications after surgery. Your in real trouble, she’s not available. She doesn’t listen. Another Dr. had to insist she look at the problem from the surgery. Cares about the sale. No empathy or caring. I would not give any stars if this was an option

Dr Huang is an amazing surgeon. She is knowledgeable and explained exactly what she was going to do. She made me and my husband very comfortable with the procedure. I could not be more pleased with Dr Huang and her expertise and most wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Huang is the BEST! Incredibly smart, and she is easy to talk to and ask questions. Her talent with Plastic Surgery is award winning. I felt like Dr. Huang understood exactly what I was looking to accomplish with my Breast reduction surgery. She completely exceeded both of our expectations with the final results. Dr Huang is awesome- she squeezed me in for surgery following an accident, and I am so glad my doctor recommended her. She is bright, compassionate and really a pro- I highly recommend her! She did a great job, and the staff at the office are all lovely!

Dr. Huang was recommended by my internist, who plans a procedure for herself. Not knowing exactly what to look for other than reputation and my comfort level, I took great solace in my doctor’s recommendation. Dr. Huang was professional, friendly and provided great details concerning the surgery, along with pictures. The surgery went as expected and she was at the hospital early the next morning to approve my release. Each follow-up visit to her office was timely and the entire staff was warm

What amazing results and experience! Dr. Huang really listened to what I wanted out of my breast augmentation. She was very down to earth, friendly, and personally called me the afternoon of my surgery to see how I was feeling.

Diagnosed with Stage 0 Breast Cancer earlier this year, I elected to have a Bilateral Breast Reduction at the same time as the Lumpectomy. My Sibley Hospital Johns Hopkins Breast Surgeon recommended Dr Kathy Huang to operate simultaneously with her. Because the breast was going to be reduced, my surgeon was able to take a wider margin than normal for the Lumpectomy, and unfortunately, another cancer, this one Stage 1, was found in the material removed. Nevertheless, Dr Huang did a fantastic job

I truly can’t say enough about my wonderful experience with Dr. Kathy Huang and Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington. My consult with Dr. Huang was my third surgeon I went to consult with regarding abdominoplasty and my last. Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington is extremely professional and honest. Dr. Huang completed the most thorough consultation and was so informative. I truly appreciated her honesty; she gave me realistic expectations (she surpassed my expectations).

May be a good surgeon, but lacks compassion & empathy. She wanted to prescribe the strongest opioid pain meds for after the surgery for breast CA. I requested the least powerful meds because I had a family history of addiction and a personal history of drug use and addiction (though it was 30 years ago). The first thing she said to me in the hospital, the morning after my surgery, was "So, I see you decided to use pain meds after all" in a mocking tone of voice. Never asked how I was feeling.
