One of the most arrogant, purposefully condescending physicians I've ever worked with. Has the personality of a cold fish or really a snake. This view, from a colleague in the medical system that Dr. Chism works in today. Had to tell my friends who saw her to find another doctor, especially after the six I knew griped about her using these same real descriptions of her! Sad these Dr types make it through & aren't flagged out well before graduation. I wouldn't send anybody to see this lousy human being.

I've seen Dr Chisms for about 3 years. During this time I've found her care barely adequate with sone exceptions. I am type 2 diabetic and during my time with Dr Chisms my condition has worsened. My A1C has gone from low 6.0 to around 7.8. she had added long acting insulin which seems to worsen my condition. Instead of going a different direction she just has me increase the dosage. Recently I have developed occasional chest pains. She just dumped me on the ER. Poor care tactic in my view.

Dr. Chism is very knowledgeable and provides excellent care for her patients. She doesn’t rush in and out of exam room; instead she takes the time to listen to her patients. She is a wonderful physician.

Dr. Chism is directly responsible for my making lifestyle changes that have greatly benefited my health and well-being. She is thorough, courteous, and attentive. I'm often in the exam room before I've finished the paperwork, so wait times have never been an issue.

Dr. Chism and her super rude nurse, Faith, like to give people trying to become foster parents a hard time about the paper work they need signed. If I could leave zero stars I would. I don't recommend this doctor at all.

Has her own agenda. Frivolous testing, makes you schedule an appointment for EVERYTHING, even receiving test results. Refuses to have nurse give results over the phone. I called and wanted to change my birth control after being on it 6 months. She made me schedule an appointment, told me to "suck it up" that my medicine made me feel bad, and refused to change it until my next physical. Finding a new Doctor was the best decision I EVER MADE. This woman is LOONEY!!

Dr. Chism is very thorough. She caught a problem with my lab work that was done at a previous doctor's office that was overlooked.

Rude. Demeaning. Requested me to make another appointment for a second question I had during an initial appointment. Argumentative over symptoms I mentioned and said couldn't be true. She told me at my age I needed to write things down because I didn't remember where I had lab work done once. Requested to change doctors.
