My 12yo son has been seeing Dr. Wilson since 2017. Her expertise and patience are astounding. She was able to find the right medications to help my son and he has been very stabilized under her care. This has been our best psychiatric experience ever. I honestly do not understand the negative reviews!

Dr Wilson comes off as very scatter brained and it's as if her mind is somewhere else while talking to her. She doesn't show any interest in what you actually have to say and is quick to get you out the door. My son never liked seeing her and I hated having to talk to her to get him help.

Dr. Wilson is so busy, you will have to wait months between appointments. When you are dealing with a mental illness and medication changes, you need to be seen more often that every 3 months. She discusses medication in front of her child patients, even though they have medication anxiety. I asked her to discuss with me privately not in his presence and she told me she is naturally an honest person and can’t hide anything from her patients. Sometimes kids need to be left out of certain chats.

Dr. Wilson may have a lot of education, but she has a lot to learn about how to connect with and deal with children. She is very prickly and unrelatable in conversation and shows zero empathy. She was awful to my 7 year old, berating him about his behavior, talking way over his head, and made him feel terrible about himself, which made his behavior even worse. I would never take a child to see her, especially a sensitive one.

Not easy finding a doc to help your kid in st charles county. We were not crazy about a few of the docs we did talk to. We were very lucky to find doctor wilson and she has been great at working with us to help our kid. Very thorough in explaining to the kid and the parents all the options and considers your input. Other docs made us feel helpless and seemed to rubber stamp treatment the same as every other patient. Did not feel this way at all with her. Felt she was dealing my kid.
