SHE IS MEDIOCRE AT BEST
I have been a long time patient of Dr. Pendyal for 12 years, and her bedside manner, as well as accuracy at diagnosing and treating illnesses has become terrible. First of all, she completely dismisses everything I say, or blames it on my anxiety/depression. I had undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes for about a year and a half, I lost 57 pounds because of my blood sugar being so high, I couldn’t get out of bed, and when I finally DEMANDED blood work she said it was my depression, until the results came back with a 15.29% A1c! She compared my sciatic pain (which is HORRIBLE) to my 12 year old daughters period cramps. She cannot even properly treat my strep throat which I have had for a MONTH. The first antibiotic she prescribed didn’t work. She just wants to push weight loss referrals for surgery and loves to write prescriptions. Even contacting that office is at minimum a 45 minute wait time. I have just lost all respect and trust in her. I’d advise to find a new doctor.

Dr. Pendyal would go out of her way and do anything for her patients. She is always available. I found her on call. Her diagnosis was spot on and she prescribed medication that immediately brought relief when I was afraid and not feeling well. She is the best.

My last visit with Dr Pendyal was awful. I had been sick for 2 months with pneumonia. She said there was nothing wrong with me. Two days later, I was in CMC emergency room having a Thoracentesis. I also had fluid around my heart and had to have a pericardial window the next day. I was in the hospital 2 weeks. I almost died because of Dr Pendyal. I will find another doctor.

Did not return phone call of an urgent matter for 2-1/2 days. Husband ended up in hospital. Beware, if you need help, it may take 2-3 days for her to respond. Lost all faith in her as an ethical, caring physician. Would not recommend her to an enemy, much less a friend!

I am a long-time patient of Chippenham Family Medicine and Dr. Pendyal has been my primary care physician for the last six years. She takes whatever time is necessary to listen to her patients making sure she understands their concerns, carefully studies lab test results before each appointment, and diligently monitors factors involving my medications. She and the entire staff are courteous, personable, very professional, and highly competent. I highly recommend Dr. Pendyal to anyone seeking patient-centered care.

Dr. Pendyal is a caring physician. She listens to the patient and makes recommendations based on the patient's needs. She reviews medication and tries to ensure the patient gets only medication vital to his/her good health. She ensure blood work is taken every six months, reviews the results and makes recommendations. I truly believe her goal is to keep the patient mobile with as little medication as possible. This is a great goal when it appears so many doctors just wants to "medicate" the old folks until they don't know if they are coming or going!

I've been with Chippenham Family Medicine for many years and have always been very pleased with all the staff and doctors at this practice. They have done a great job during the Covid19 to keep the office clean and separating sick patients from well visits patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pendyal and Chippenham Family Medicine.
