An Asset to UCD
I’ve been seeing Dr. Nelsen for many years for a myriad of things. She’s attentive, understanding, on-time, suggests therapies, medications, etc., for the conditions I have and understands patients’ situations can fall into grey areas where extra care and understanding is needed. When my mom came to Elk Grove from Oregon to get treatment for triple negative breast cancer Dr. Nelsen saw her immediately and coordinated her care with the UCD Cancer Center. My mom is with the angels but I’m so grateful Dr. Nelsen was her Dr too. I’m grateful Dr. Nelsen is my Dr as her care for my health concerns and medications has been top notch. Dr. Nelsen will definitely be missed by all those who are seen by her when she retires.

Unorganized
She does not appear to be organized and is not able to complete a visit throughly. Meds not updated, exams not completed, wait times for referrals. My last visit with her will be my last visit.

Dr Nelsen has moved to UD Davis in Elk Grove. She is very friendly and personable. I don’t have many health problems but she gave me the right amount of time and attention.
