Dr. Kayla Handy, MD

This doctor is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had. She is always on time! Always takes her time to answer any questions I have, she is very thorough and is a one of a kind doctor. Her staff is wonderful!!!! I would highly recommend her!!!

Rude, unstable, lies about calling for prior auth on a covered medication making the patient suffer for months and pay cash for the medication. When questioned flips out and belittles the patient that is in pain suffering in front of her. This woman is not practicing on good morals nor is the account charges done correctly. I have been receiving reimbursement checks from where I was paying bills her office said I owed. I believe she needs to be audited. She also refused initially to hand over my prescription bottle with my name on it that I paid cash for. I had to call the pharmacy to inform her to release the medication I paid for to me by law.

Dr. Handy is extremely knowledgeable and caring. She listens to your concerns and answers all your questions. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs a great neurologist.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Handy today. I found her to be very knowledgeable and she took time to understood my migraines. She was caring, thorough and approachable. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Handy as a migraine specialist.

Dr. Handy is a fantastic practitioner. Every appointment I leave with a better understanding of my diagnosis and my options for treatment. Dr. Handy has never made me feel ignorant or stupid for asking questions, and is always able to explain things in a way that make sense to me as a non-medical professional. I never feel rushed in our appointments and there is always time for questions and explanations. What I appreciate most is how she works in partnership with me as a patient, allowing me to advocate for the treatments I want and trusting my experience as a patient. As a young woman experiencing chronic pain, a physician who listens and trusts my lived experience is so critical, and Dr. Handy's office has always been a completely safe space for that. I have been under her care roughly once a month for 5 months and would recommend her to anyone experiencing head pain of any kind. I have a better standard to judge my future physicians on after working with her!
