Dr. Kayla Krug Irelan, DO

So apparently if you leave an honest review then Dr. Irelan will no longer see. Which she has every right to but it's very sad there's doctors out there that aren't being held accountable for their actions instead of caring for their patients. On top of her secretary Jabarie being extremely rude & the numerous times I've unfortunately talked to him, he has a horrible attitude & talks down to people. I'm not sure if it's because I'm white but just beware. They scheduled me two other times to see her but failed to mention I was dismissed. I left work early on Tuesday to get into Houston for my appointment to find out it was canceled without my knowledge & still no one told me I was dismissed. This office is so unprofessional. There's so many other doctors in Houston, go somewhere else so you don't have to deal with these people.

When you need your doctor to have your back during difficult times in your life you would hope she'd look out after you like she does all the people on here that are giving her great reviews. My last doctor was more than excellent before she left for greener pastures but my wife found this doctor and I don't blame her for finding this doctor. All bad reviews on here I do agree with and hope to find a more compatible doctor that cares about all of her patients and not just the ones she likes. I won't say anything bad but I'm too old for this. Im looking for a competent Doctor with a great bedside manner but also has a great staff and actually like being a doctor instead of being satisfied with having the title. No bad words but I'm looking for a doctor that's on the same page as I am and I feel comfortable with and I will keep changing doctors until I find chosen one.

Dr. Krug is intelligent & kind. She encourages me to share what is going on in my life which could impact my health. If I have questions, Dr. Krug never rushes through the discussion. Her approach gives me confidence that we are making good decisions for my health. And the setup at her practice makes it amazingly easy to schedule tests or appointments with other doctor’s anytime that is needed.

She always takes the time to talk with me.

Doctor Krug is an amazing doctor! She’s been my doctor for the last few years and every time I see her is always wonderful. Her bedside manor is impeccable! She cares a lot about making you feel comfortable and is always open to hear any concerns. She takes the time to learn who you are and takes the time to figure out your best options in terms of care. I’ve had GPs in the past who treated all their patients like an assembly line and I’m thankful that I have her as my doctor. I highly recommend her!

I just had my annual physical appointment with Dr. Krug. It was nice that she took the time to ask me about me not just go through the motions of a quick checkup. She was genuinely engaged in addressing my health concerns. I wasn’t brushed off as another tired woman. Dr. Krug wants to help you find out what’s good for you and not just prescribe medication as the possible fix. I feel like I have a partner in my health journey.

Dr Krug takes the time to talk about what you need to see her for. Definitely recommend her and will be becoming our family pcp.

Dr. Krug is great. She took the time to listen to me as a a patient and is very charismatic. She gets back to you in a very timely manner with lab/test results.

Her bedside manner is 10/10, you can tell she truly cares about her patients. I had the best patient/doctor experience of all my visits with her.
