Dr. Kaylen Silverberg, MD

My husband and I went through four egg retrievals and one frozen embryo transfer with Dr. Silverberg. After every single retrieval Dr. Silverberg took the time to debrief with us, which consisted of everything from talking me out of multiple downward spirals to having an open discussion on what we could change in our protocol moving forward. What I appreciated most about these debriefs is that he always made sure to back up his suggestions with evidence based research and his own extensive experience. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and I owe everything to Dr. Silverberg. When we got bad news, he was visibly just as disappointed as we were. And when the tides turned, he celebrated our wins as if they were his own. He treated my husband and I as if we were his own family and I can’t imagine having gone through this process with another provider. When it is time to return to Texas Fertility Center to try for our second child, there is no one else we want for the job.

I have severe endometriosis. I have had excision surgery by two of the best doctors in Massachusetts. I moved here and saw Kaylen had great reviews. So I went in- first red flag is that an “incredible endo” specialist could fit me in the next few days. I get there. I wait 45+ minutes for my appointment. All of my pain was invalidated. I was sobbing in pain during my ultrasound. He said all clear! YOU CANNOT FIND ENDOMETRIOSIS VIA ULTRASOUND. The fact that I know more about endo than Dr Silverberg is deeply disturbing. I got thrown a z pack for the pain I had with my ultrasound. You didn’t even test me for a virus and you’re throwing antibiotics at me for pain during ultrasound. I HAVE ENDO. OF COURSE IT IS GONNA HURT. I told him my bowels feels like knives- CLASSIC ENDO OF THE BOWEL. He told me I have a fissure. And then. He prescribes me lupron with no investigation, no surgery options , the medication that made my sisters brain swell. If u are looking for a TRUE ENDO SPECIALIST..RUN!

I cannot recommend Texas Fertility enough! My husband and I had been trying to conceive for awhile when we started our journey at Texas Fertility. Dr. Silverberg was so knowledgeable, kind and has a great bedside manner. He took something that can be so stressful and made it manageable. Dr. Silverberg's nurses are also so friendly and helpful! My husband and I didn't think we would ever do IVF, but with the team at Texas Fertility we were confident in choosing to move forward. Dr. Silverberg made it his mission to get IVF to work for us and on the third transfer it did! I just wish we could continue going there as I was sad to leave the remarkable staff! I would also like to note that we have seen other doctors at the practice and they are all excellent!!

Where do I begin talking about Dr. Silverberg?! Hands down, he is the BEST fertility doctor here in Austin (and probably even in the world according to my current OBGYN). He is a HUGE asset to the fertility world without exaggeration. He is very knowledgeable, confident, very professional and honest(does not sugarcoat your issue and finds a solution for it!) about his expertise in fertility medicine! It was a long process but I NEVER had a single doubt like I had with my previous doctors that he would fail/miss key procedures. He was always a step ahead and I had a 200000000% confidence in him and I was always relaxed overall with him as my fertility specialist because, at the end of the day if it had not worked, I knew it wasn't from lack of his expertise but luck! It is amazing to be able to find a good doctor and not have to worry about their work as the fertility world is definitely hard environment to navigate around! The nurses and TFC staff were also awesome!

I highly recommend Dr. Silverberg and his nursing *dream* team for IVF in Austin. Dr. Silverberg's team helped me navigate 3 IVF retrievals, 2 transfers, and related surgeries from Jan 2021 thru Jan 2022. They adjusted my protocol along the way to maximize the outcome as we learned more together. At 39, I am pregnant with my first due in September. The nursing team makes everything about IVF more manageable. They were incredibly responsive, attentive, patient, detailed, and empathetic. I wholeheartedly trusted Dr. Silverberg and the team with my care (and would do so again). Only recommendation is know your calendar is not yours during this process. There will be curveballs or calendar delays that are out of the control of the team. You will have some waiting room time, but I managed to knock out work while I waited (and if you can get the early appointments, the better).

Dr. Silverberg and his team have been there every step of the way for us! We began in March 2020. Throughout Covid they never shut down and continued to provide safe fertility care. Doctors and nurses answered all of our questions patiently and kindly. When we suffered a miscarriage in April 2021, Dr. Silverberg spoke with us at 8:00 PM comforting us and showing compassion. We are now 15 weeks pregnant! We "graduated" from TFC at 8 weeks, but at 10 weeks I began to bleed. I spoke wtih my OB and they would not see me for two weeks due to lack of cramping. When I called Dr. Silverberg they immediately got me in to check and reassure me that baby was fine. It's a true testament to how much they care that they will make time for you even when you are no longer their patient. The nurse team (shoutout to the wonderful Grace!) was quick to respond to all my answers and the text messaging system is so convenient. I will forever by grateful for everyone at Texas Fertility Center!

Could not recommend Dr. Silverberg more. He is the best doctor I have ever seen. He's so experienced and knowledgeable about all things fertility. I did a ton of research before choosing him, and picked him because he really is the best of the best. My experience reinforced this! We ended up doing IVF with him and have "graduated" from him to our OBGYN. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and it is all due to his expertise and care. Side note - the nurses in TFC are also nice and easy to work with and will help you with anything you need! We really loved how reassuring and helpful they were throughout everything. They answered any stupid questions I may have had in a super timely manner!

So incredibly grateful for Dr. Silverberg! He helped get us our newborn son via ivf after 2 years of trying <3 we're 30 years old with unexplained infertility and had gone to other specialists who took a lot of our time and money with zero results... so happy we came across Dr Silverberg and TFC. He is smart, confident and super welcoming. He knows his stuff and is very straightforward (no BS or wasting your time) which is what you want with a Dr....Can't thank him and his team enough for this blessing. If you're in doubt, he is the best in ATX!!!

Everyone at the Texas Fertility Center is amazing! We are so lucky that our infertility journey has come to a happy conclusion after just 3 rounds of IUI. However, even if we were told that we needed to pursue IVF or other options, we would have been happy to walk this journey with them. They are incredibly attentive, responsive and sensitive to the emotions that are involved in fertility problems. Dr. Silverberg is incredibly knowledgeable and I am so glad that I was referred to him as a woman that suffers from Endometriosis. He and his team were a blessing during this time and I would recommend that anyone having fertility issues (particularly due to Endometriosis) goes to see him.

Dr. Silverberg is awesome. He is a knowledgeable doctor and excellent surgeon. He always explains things clearly and thoroughly. We felt we were in good hands while we were seeing him. The nurses in TFC are also nice and easy to work with. Definitely recommend Dr. Silverberg and TFC for couples in Austin looking for help to grow family.

It has been 10 years since my nightmare with Dr. Silverberg which culminated in a voicemail message of a miscarriage. In one appointment Silverberg ordered a Lexus while I was sitting in his office. He had a young intern come into the room without asking permission while I was exposed on the exam table. He is most famous for his software that he invented to maximize profits. I eventually found a great doctor at the San Diego Fertility Clinic and that made it even more clear how terrible Silverberg is. But he’s a great marketer of himself. Don’t be fooled!!!!!

After meeting with a few of the main fertility specialists in Austin, my husband and I decided Texas Fertility Center and more specifically Dr. Silverberg was the best fit for us. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to make sure we knew all our options before moving forward with IVF. Throughout the entire IVF process I felt completely supported and cared for by Dr. Silverberg and his amazing nurse team. I have officially "graduated" from Dr. Silverberg's care and am moving on to my OB which is definitely bitter-sweet! If you are currently looking for a fertility specialist... do not look any further! TFC is the place to go!

After considering multiple fertility docs, we are SO glad we decided to go with Dr. Silverberg. He and the entire TFC staff (especially the nurse team) are incredible to work with in every way. They are highly organized, fully supportive and always a joy to work with during an especially challenging time. Dr. Silverberg is not only a fantastic physician due to his knowledge and experience in the field on infertility but also highly personable with consistently good bedside manner. My husband and I started the process with him in January and found out in September that we are expecting a little boy in June 2021. We hope to expand our family in the future and will definitely be returning to Dr. Silverberg. Look no further if you want an incredible all around fertility journey!

I loved working with Dr. Silverberg for my IVF treatment. I transferred to him from another practice and quickly appreciated his approach and expertise. He knew exactly what we needed to do for my particular situation and six months later I was pregnant. He answered any of the questions I had along the way and ALWAYS made me feel comfortable and confident in his approach and rationale. Not only does he have extensive experience in dealing with a variety of fertility ails, but he is a genuinely kind person who gets sincere gratification from helping women solve some of their most trying gynecological problems. Over the series of months that I was working with Dr. S and his team, I received meticulous and attentive care. Dr. S is the kind of physician who will make himself as accessible to patients as possible (even by providing his personal cell phone number). His approach is focused and data-driven; he spends an inordinate amount of time doing research to ameliorate the field and outcomes for so many. He has helped thousands of people achieve their lifelong dreams of building families and also addressing long-term issues that were often ignored or misdiagnosed by other providers. I cannot recommend Dr. Silverberg and his team enough, and will be eternally grateful for the attentive care that lead us to our own miracle.

After struggling with infertility for 4 years, my husband and I made our first consultation with Dr. Silverberg at Texas Fertility Center. Our first impression of Dr. Silverberg was outstanding and exactly what we needed. He patiently listened to all of our concerns, answered every question under the sun (we had a whole list...literally) and most importantly put us at ease and gave us hope that a healthy pregnancy was in our future! Dr. Silverberg takes the worry off your shoulders and provides the best medical care possible in order to make your dreams of having a family come true. His nursing team is nothing short of stellar. They answer every "crazy" question and are extremely organized, prompt and knowledgeable! We feel so blessed to have been able to call him our doctor for this journey. I have been a patient of TFC and Dr. Silverberg on and off for the last ten years. I cannot say enough good things about him and the staff. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, encouraging, and quick to respond. As for Dr. Silverberg, he immediately put my husband and I at ease the first time we met him. Throughout our journey he was always straight forward and compassionate. While knowing he has many patients and is a busy doctor, I always felt that when he asked how we were doing, he really wanted to know. Sometimes you do have to wait a while for an appointment, but knowing he takes his time if I have an issue, I understand that he gives that time to his other patients as well. After a long infertility journey, we are now pregnant through embryo donation. It was bittersweet when Dr. Silverberg released me to go to my regular OB! I highly recommend him and TFC to anyone having to navigate the rollercoaster of infertility.

We had a wonderful experience at Texas Fertility Center. Dr. Silverberg put us at ease from our first consultation and was confident and clear in our treatment plan. Dr. Silverberg's bedside manner is very straight forward, intelligent, and calm - and I felt well-informed throughout the process. His nurses were patient and friendly - and prompt in responding to our questions. Our first treatment cycle was a success and I can't recommend Dr. Silverberg highly enough!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about TFC! The TFC team is excellent! From our first visit and explaining the IUI process, to the after-care/after-hour questions we had and the quick responses we received, to the painless and ease of the actual process --- we were extremely impressed! Dr. Silverberg is one of the best in his field, excellent at diagnosis and a brilliant surgeon.He gave us the best fertility treatment and within an year we had success conceiving.I would highly recommend him.
