Recent surgery
Dr. Goldberg was very kind & professional. Explained everything & answered all my questions. I had a hernia repair & TIF procedure. I am very happy with the results of my surgery. I have been suffering GI problems for years. I did not have a good quality of life. I was always afraid to have surgery. Dr. Goldberg explained everything to me & what to expect. I am only a few weeks out past surgery & my quality of life has already improved. I highly recommend him for any surgery.

Great Experience
I had a difficult to diagnosis hiatal hernia. The first several tests I had done did not show a problem. Dr. Goldberg was determined to fix my situation. After getting to know me he found out I had chronic acid reflux. He performed the TIF procedure and repaired my hernia. This has completely changed my lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg and the TIF procedure.

Would give 0 stars. Made appointment for TIF procedure 2 weeks ago with Dr. Goldberg. Originally asked for telehealth appointment and was told Dr. G likes to see his patients in person. Dr. Goldberg's scheduler was given at the time of making appt. medical history (patient disabled) , explained we were from out of town (gave address) and even faxed over their intake patient form prior to our visit. Drove from another state to see Dr. Goldberg. When we first checked in, front office never mentioned Dr. G was out of the office, took ins card/license to copy. She asked who patient was, I pointed them out. Sat down and 10 mins later was called up to the desk to be told Dr. Goldberg would not see the patient; "too high risk for surgery." We asked to speak w/Dr. Goldberg and was told he was not even in the office. Office manager, gone for day. Don't waste your time here. Plenty of other doctors who do the TIF. Unprofessional and zero empathy.

Excellent. Having worked as an registered nurse and respiratory therapist for 40 years, I recognized Dr. Goldberg to show exceptional care and concern for his patients. I went to him because he was highly recommended by other healthcare workers at Northcrest Hospital. I had a laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair and a TIF procedure. I feel that Dr. Goldberg throughly explained the procedures and took time to answer all my questions. I am doing extremely well 12 days post-op and haven’t needed any anti-reflux medication at all.

I was diagnosed with Hiatal hernia and was already medicating heavily for acid reflux and was told i needed surgery. What I was offered elsewhere was a Nissen fundoplication procedure. This procedure would have likely left me unable to belch or throw up for the rest of my life and would require gasex to help control gas. This seemed unacceptable to me at least without research. My wife and I researched online and discovered a procedure called a TIF procedure. We then began researching surgeons that perform this procedure and found Dr Goldberg who had excellent reviews. Those reviews were spot on. Although Dr Goldberg was 4-1/2 hours away we would have driven twice that far once meeting him. Dr Goldberg takes his time and is very through with explaining everything and answering any and every question you have. We had to have some preliminary studies and and scopes and then the TIF procedure itself. He and everyone we encountered were wonderful. You won’t regret a visit to Dr Goldberg
