On May 26th 2023 Dr Korver saved My Life- 3XCABG
I had emergency 3x Bypass Surgery a year ago and Dr. Korver saved my life. The night before I had an angiogram and learned that my 2 main arteries were blocked 99%. The next morning Dr Korver came into my room and immediately hugged my wife and then shook my hand and told me “ we are going to take care of you “ I knew then I was in good hands. Everyone at Marin General were amazing especially his medical partner Francis, Nurse Linda in the Cardiac unit, My 3 ICU Nurses- Peter, Nahid, and Aaron. The entire OR staff were nothing short of incredible!! I spent 3 nights in ICU and 3 days in regular room and then back home. I could not have done this without the loving support of my wife and the incredible Dr. Korver and his team at Marin General. 45 days later I was back to hiking and running 7 miles. BLESSED! Thank you!!

Dr Korver saved my life in June 2023… He is the kindest surgeon and knowledgeable doctor I have had the pleasure to know. My surgery was a rough one and he took care of me until finally I could go home after many weeks in hospital. God bless you Dr Korver.. Jan Moore - Santa Rosa CA

I left a review in October 2017 about the Aortic Valve replacement Dr. Korver performed on my 89 yr old mother. He told me after the operation she had the lungs of a young person, as she had never smoked, and said she was likely to see a 96th birthday. I just wanted to say, she just celebrated her 96th , and it is safe to say, this is because of Dr. Korver and his excellent staff. Thanks, and for those in the same boat, looking at advanced age open heart surgery, you won't find a better heart surgeon.

Five years ago, Dr Korver and Dr Schmidt and the nurses and residents at St Joe’s saved my life after I was attacked with a knife. So I’d just like to thank them for that. Pretty much every thing is as good as new.

I had an SAVR by doctor Korver and recommend him highly. He is straightforward and is not afraid to make personal recommendations if you are wavering. I chose the SAVR due to much research on the subject and his recommendation. Because of his expertise, I am now the proud owner of a healthy new porcine aortic valve a year and a half out.

Needing heart bypass surgery, I visited surgeons from UCSF and up through Sonoma. Based on a wholistic approach to the patient, a copious intake of personal history and lifestyle choices, and a pure love for the work that he does, I wisely chose Dr. Korver. Not only did he offer me whatever time I needed, both before, during and after the surgery, everything about the process was efficient and perfectly executed. Giving over your heart to another is a big decision...Dr. Korver gets a 100% rating
