I have a complicated health history. Based on some past experiences, health issues cause me to have tremendous anxiety. I arrived at the ER with high anxiety, in a lot of pain, and fearful of what may be wrong with me. He reviewed my chart before he saw me, asked thoughtful questions, and truly seemed to want to arrive at the root cause of my problem. His nurse was excellent as well. After some tests were done, he was able to rule out my biggest fear and identify the root causes of my problem. Once home, I took the prescribed antibiotics and had an allergic reaction to one of them. I was treated by a different doctor for that, but Dr. Peacock followed up with me the next day to make sure I was ok and that the new prescription would be good for my conditions. In New Orleans they use a word to describe a little something extra - Langiappe. In a time when patient care is not always the best, Dr. Peacock and his team strive to provide Langiappe.

Excellent care in the ED. My daughter was on a school trip and had an anaphylactic reaction. Dr. Peacock also took the care to follow up with a call to see how she was doing the following day. As an out of state parent, I really appreciated the care and compassion that he showed. Well done Dr. Peacock!

I came into the ER one afternoon extremely sick from multiple system infections and at that time it was attacking my kidneys the worse from a open joint jaw surgery a few months prior, but severely sick for months with the original facility missing all of the red flags and dangerous infection. This was a angel in a scrub as he listened and fast. Taking all those months in within a matter of minutes. The nurses were wonderful as well working as a team to administer his orders. I had a bad reaction to first antibiotic we tried and he flew into the room to get me stable and treat the distress. He's was in and out by my bedside into the next morning and made sure the other doctor knew personally before he left the hospital after a long, rough shift with my infection. He saved my life with his Piedmont Team! I made it to my 33rd birthday because of this ER doc being quick on his feet!
