I highly recommend Dr. Cahill.
Dr. Cahill has been my physician for over 10 years and I wouldn’t want any other Dr. The entire staff are very personable, friendly, and caring. A real bonus is that now a phlebotomist is on site for lab draws. He is also my spouse’s physician and both of us respect his abilities and thoroughness.

I had just moved into the Lafayette area and had pain in my lower left leg. He took me immediately and found a blood clot in the lower leg. Fortunately with his immediate treatment the clot did not move into my lung. He is very thorough and his staff is great!

Go elsewhere. DR. Cahill is quick to prescribe medicine rather than ruling out / listening to the medical conditions you present him. The staff is rude and they do not listen. Overall very unprofessional atmosphere. I hope this helps save someone’s time and energy.

Dr Cahill is very knowledgeable and good listener. Allows his patients plenty of time and let’s the patient lead the visit. He was very concerned about family history and very open to preventive medicine and screenings and not quick to throw a bunch of medicines on you. He speaks to you like a person not a medical record. Staff is very nice. Receptionist very nice and schedule well. Minimal wait. No overbooking.

Dr . Cahill has been treating me for about 8 years after I left my former, long-time family physician. He is a good listener and offers solutions to my, sometimes, complex health issues. He is cognizant of the cost of meds and will prescribe some "old school" meds when possible. Dr. Cahill and Nurse Practitioner Charmaine Hebert are both awesome!
