Not so great bedside manner.
She was my first PCP in the Dallas area. I only saw her for my annual check up and follow ups for meds. The first few visits there were no issues but my required follow ups for meds she was stand off ish. As if my appointment was interrupting her day when I asked additional questions.

Dr. Givens is condescending and would not listen. She dismissed everything, including my child's past history. She told me it was all in my child's head and to calm down (I was explaining symptoms and was not the least bit agitated). We left feeling terrible. It took months before we could muster the emotional strength to find another doctor. Diagnosis: Lyme. Thank you to the doctors out there who listen. She is now being treated by an infectious disease specialist and improving.
