Simply the best
She explained everything to us until we understood what was going on. She took her time and wasn’t just rushing out of the room like most doctors. She is Very caring, compassionate and made us fell like family.

This was my first time having surgery. I was more than terrified. Dr Haisley came highly recommended so I went for it. I’m so glad I did. She is so kind and so caring. She is thorough and made sure all of my questions were answered. On the day of my surgery. I had many many tears. She came in to talk to me before surgery and the only question I was able to get out from crying so hard is .. will I wake up ?? She wiped my tears and assured me that I would most definitely wake. She stayed with me and made sure I was calm and confident in her. When being wheeled back to surgery My mind was racing. It was sinking in that within minutes I would be undergoing surgery and I was panicking. I don’t really remember much after getting into the OR. But the one thing I do remember is Dr. Haisley holding my hand and telling me it would be ok before I fell asleep. That will be my memory of something I was so terrified of. She comforted me and genuinely cared. She made me feel safe.Thank you Dr Haisley

As a retired general surgeon,volunteering at OHSU to support esophageal cancer & benign esophagectomy patients, I've had the privilege to see Dr. Haisley in action during the last 2 years of her training. She demonstrates knowledge excellence AND cares about her patients, well beyond just treating them well.
