Dr. Kelly Park, MD

I saw Dr. Park for the first (and last time) recently. I went in for a routine skin check. I also had a few other concerns and questions, and she basically blew off each one. She showed no concern for my issues. When I inquired about how long I should go in between laser treatments she said, "It's your skin, do what you want." I asked recommendations about products and she had none. Really? No suggestions? She said "we sell stuff here but I'm not sure what it costs," and "Just wear sunscreen." Total waste of my time. And, as a side note, I've never encountered a doctor office until this one, that requires callers to leave a message when they call. You cannot get a human unless you press the option that your call is urgent. Their normal message says you'll hear back within two business days. Totally ridiculous. Hire a receptionist if nobody can answer the phones. I will never go back. There are too many options out there. Avoid Lakeside!

Normally I see the other Dr in her office, but I had a horribly painful and itchy keloid scar at my old port site that was spreading. Dr. Park agreed to squeeze me in the next morning. She did an injection on the spot and I went back for 2 more with her specifically over the next few mos. The scar no longer is 3D, itchy, or painful. She is very sweet, has a great sense of humor, and is punctual. Dr. Park also understood the potential for skin complications with my EDS. I would recommend her.
