Dr. Kelly Roy, MD

I went to Dr. Roy for a cervix biopsy, she was very rough and didn't listen to me despite me telling her I was in pain, bleeding and I was crying. Before even getting results she was telling me I would need to get my cervix removed and that I wouldn't be able to have children later. She booked me for a 7000 dollar cold knife cervical conization operation a week later but I did not trust her so I went to another doctor for a 2nd opinion. They told me I did not have cancer, did not need to have a cold knife cervical conization and that I can and will have children. A few months later I got pregnant and had a healthy pregnancy and I still have my cervix. DO NOT go to this doctor who is lying and scamming you for money. I reported her to the health department as well.

I can’t say enough good about Dr Roy! She is very no nonsense, I respect this! I just moved out of the area but would definitely make the 4 hour drive back to see her. The very best! Very kind and considerate!

I interviewed 6 different surgeons. Dr Roy was the only who let me make my own decision about my body and honored my wishes. I went with the most minimal invasive procedure possible within my circumstances and am 100% happy with the results. I’m not sure why everyone else kept pressing me to cut out body part, have longer down town and triple the medical expenses. Perhaps other doctors are following a barbaric medical training that was created by men a long time ago. There are newer technologies available that are non invasive. We also have our own technology of listening to our own inner guidance. I am very grateful I got to meet and work with Dr Roy. Thank you!

Dr. Roy thinks she's the only doctor who's right. I followed up with my pcp about my BP like she requested and didn't have any issues with my BP. But Dr. Roy insisted my pcp was wrong and incompetent

I absolutely adore Dr Roy and all of her colleagues! I went in for an ultrasound and consultation with her last week. When she saw how pale, weak, and bad my bp and blood sugar was, she insisted I go to the hospital. She reassured me that I was under her care and that this was the best course of action. I was in the hospital for 3 days where I was treated with the utmost care, kindness, and professionalism by Dr. Roy, her Residents, and other colleagues. Prior to this experience, I had never even met Dr Roy. I’m so incredibly grateful to her, Tessa Riley, DNP, the techs, Residents, and the other doctors who worked together to ensure I survived this scary incident. As someone with chronic health conditions starting in my early 20’s, I’ve dealt with enough doctors in the last 27 years to know when I’ve found one of the greats. They don’t get better than Dr. Roy or the providers in her practice. I feel incredibly blessed to have her as my doctor!

don't go to this doctor unless you just want to be told you need a hysterectomy.

Dr. Kelly Roy was just wonderful. She was professional, informative and kind. The staff was also terrific. The entire office was helpful and considerate. I would recommend her and her team to anyone.

Dr. Roy WILL NOT see you if you're not coming in with a concern that would require surgical intervention ($); they will redirect to their mid-level providers. OFFICE CONDITIONS: not aseptic; very high concern for cross-contamination. MID-LEVEL PROVIDER (NIKEYYA BOYD, FNP): upon physical examination my debilitating pain and rebound tenderness were responded with the comment "awh, you're just a sensitive girl huh? After this she made no comments about my pain and said she didn't feel anything that stood out to her, although I had very obvious peripheral edema+swollen lymph nodes, which I brought up to her but she said she didn't notice. I was later diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome at Mayo Clinic. Without FNP's that have at least just as much knowledge of different diagnoses, they will NOT be able to assess whether or not you're worth being seen by the doctor.

I had a great experience with Dr. Roy and her staff. Dr. Roy was awesome and I felt very comfortable with her. I will be referring her to friends and family.

The front desk was very rude. I was told she was only doing surgical reviews and told I could find someone else and then hung up on me.

Dr. Roy saved my life. I had a horrible infection after a different doctor performed a hysterectomy on me. She was able to identify the infection and gave me life saving care and medicine.

I am so glad I found Dr. Roy and Kris. Seriously life changing. Dr. Roy and Kris are very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. I had my surgery scheduled at Dr. Roys surgery center. Great experience, wonderful nurses.. I am glad I have found my new forever gynecologist. The staff was very nice and helpful. I was a patient of Dr. Roy's several years ago and found her to be incredible. She was thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I phoned her office this morning and was informed she is exclusively doing surgical reviews. I was curtly offered the opportunity to see another doctor. The receptionist could not have been more unfriendly or uninterested in me as a prospective patient. I am disappointed as I think the world of Dr. Roy. But, my experience with the front desk will take me elsewhere.

Dr. Roy may be perceived as cold and clinical by some, but those qualities don't bother me at all-- in fact I appreciate her seriousness and dedication. I've been coming here for about five years, and I'm always assured of the competence of the entire staff (front office included). NP Kristina Calligan is wonderful, too. Stellar women's care provider.

I have been a patient of Dr. Roy's since April 2017 when my PCP recommended her because of my history of cervical dysplasia. It is obvious that she and her PA are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I could not be more pleased with this practice and the office staff. Coming from another part of the country in the last year and finding a practice of this caliber is encouraging!

My first appointment with Dr. Roy was amazing. I felt so comfortable in her office and the office staff were great. Dr. Roy was easy to talk to and very informative. I love they she can do everything right there in her office. I would highly recommend Dr. Roy. She is one of the best!!! I went to her Mesa location.

i am a patient, of Dr, Roy's, and couldn't be happier! she's obviously very experienced, and so is her entire staff. I've seen a lot gynecologists , in my life, she is by far, the most knowledgeable , she keeps up with all the latest procedures and treatments ! she takes the time to listen to YOU, answers all your questions,! I truly feel, i am in the best hands! Honestly, I would recommend her to every woman I know! As well as any woman, looking for a GREAT Doctor, that you can truly trust!

Dr. Roy was very compassionate and made sure that she explained my procedure in "layman's" terms. She came in to see me after the procedure and made sure that she answered all of my questions. Everyone in her office was amazing. In particular, I would like to say how wonderful Kristina Calligan, NP has been to work with. She takes as much time as necessary to answer your questions to make sure that you are comfortable and understand.
