He is a really awesome doctor and good bedside edicacy. He fixed my hernia and saved my life.

Poor bedside manner if you can get him to the bedside! Does not listen to family concerns. Probably an average surgeon when he does operate.

Dr McArthur performed emergency surgery to repair an intestinal blockage. My initial reaction was I wanted my original doctor to perform the surgery as I did not know Dr McArthur. He visited me at bedside and I have to say almost immediately inspired confidence by his knowledge and explanation of exactly what was wrong followed by his detailed explanation of the corrective procedure he would be performing. It is now 3 weeks since my surgery and I am doing just great! I highly recommend him to anyone needing the kind of specialty care he provides. Thank you, Dr McArthur!

Dr. McArthur performed triple hernia surgery on me and all went according to plan. Was pleased with information he shared in clear terms both before and after the surgery. Pain was relatively mild several days following the procedure and now 5 weeks later I'm pain free, walking, biking, and just started golf again. Couldn't have gone better.

Saw Dr. McArthur for a Inguinal hernia (both left and right sides). From pre-op diagnosis thru post-op follow up, Dr. McArthur was excellent. He carefully explained what the hernia was, the procedure to repair, and the recovery process. Great bedside manner both with office visits and at surgical center. Surgery went very well and within 3 to 4 days, I was feeling very good. By the end of the first week post surgery, I felt 100% and could resume most of my normal activities. Highly recommend Dr. McArthur and would use him again for any general surgery.

Dr McArthur was my surgeon for my Hiatal hurney in Oct 2021 My surgery went very well and I can’t say enough about my surgeon, he spent the time to explain my procedure and what to expect before and after my surgery. He’s very caring and I would ( and have ) recommend him to others.

Went in for hernia surgery February of 2021 with Dr. three surgerys later left with an open abdominal wound that encircled my entire abdomen and 3 fisculas draining bile from my intestines. 24 surgerys and 10 months later I am finally home having to relearn to stand and walk. I have a home health agency coming every day to change wound dressings. I was terminated from my job of over 5 years due to this and this office sent a $2900 dollar bill to their attorney for collection. DO NOT USE THIS DR. OR OFFICE. You will be sorry.

I had delt with Dr. McArthur at least two years ago when he scheduled an intensive series of tests due to gallbladder issues and was very impressed with his knowledge and caring. Last Monday, I had him remove my gallbladder due to greatly reduced function. I knew from my past experience that he was the only one that I trusted with my health. He did not disappoint. I have had so many surgeries in my 71 years and this was by far, the best experience that I have had. My highest recommendation! In my opinion, he is the best!
