Dr. Kenichi Miyata, MD

Was the first doctor out of many to recommend surgery and also sound like he cared for his patient. He explained post-op care step by step and answered all my questions. The recovery was very easy and pain free thanks to his instructions. He also called after the surgery to checkup on my recovery and to inform me of my diagnosis.

Dr. Miyata is a wonderful surgeon. He cares for his patients and gives them the best surgery possible. His appointments are very quick, informative and thorough. He answers all our questions. Every surgery is explained in details and we will know exactly what is going on. He follows up with our stitches and makes sure that we are healing well. Thank you Miyata!

Dr. Miyata and the staff were great! They helped my mom with the tumor that was on her back. My mom is an older woman (70 years) and a lifetime smoker, and my mom was worried about going under. Dr. Miyata reassured her that she had nothing to worry about and she was in good hands. The surgery went well and the recovering too!

Doctor Miyata has helped me with three different surgeries. Once in his office and twice at the surgery center. He is the only doctor I know who is actually on time at his office and his staff are very professional. He is also a great communicator. Dr Miyata is always straight and to the point with all my questions. Dr Miayta performed a successful surgery for a very troublesome condition. With a mid-morning surgery time I was home by mid-afternoon! Thanks to Dr Miyata and his staff there is short wait times for appointments!

Dr. Miyata is a very skilled and experienced surgeon, he successfully removed a lipoma from my abdomen. I have severe medical anxiety but Dr. Miyata has been very straight forward and patient with all of my questions. He knew I was anxious about whether or not he was able to remove it completely so to ease my mind he scheduled my post op a whole week early to reassure me he was able to remove it all. He also has a second post op appointment scheduled to make sure everything is perfect. I would highly recommend Dr. Miyata to any family or friends. He is the best surgeon to have.

Office staff was very prompt and courteous with getting me in to see Dr. Miyata. He was able to see me as a self-referral the next day. Surgery was scheduled as an outpatient for 1 week. Dr. Miyata was very thorough with his explanation of the planned surgery, follow up, expected post operative issues, and medications for after the surgery. Surgery went as planned with no complications. Dr. Miyata called to see how I was doing the day after surgery. Follow up at 2 weeks was simple and uneventful. I would highly recommend Dr. Kenichi Miyata as a general surgeon, not just for me, but for my family and friends.

Dr. Miyata is the absolute best. I am always scared to go under and of surgeries, but he took that fear away. From bedside to post op care. He answered any questions I had and made it easy for me to understand. He was very kind and did a great job. I felt so comfortable throughout this whole situation. Incision healed well w no issues. I would like to give your big shout out Dr. Miyata the surgeon , and Dr. Graham the anesthesiologist who did my gallbladder removal. It was a great success! In 2020 , I went in to get it out the first time, I ended up going into cardiac arrest during it on the operating table. This was due to a rare condition called VASO VAGAL RESPONSE . The Dr. and Anesthesiologist were able to save my life. They assured me that they knew what had happened and on June 20th, 2024 they were able to successfully remove my gallbladder with no problems ! I appreciate that they were able to tell me what had happened the first time and how to prevent it from happening again . I trusted them and I am glad I did! I had the best experience with Mr Miyata and his staff. They had me scheduled for surgery right away. Mr. Miyata did an amazing job removing my lipoma. He cut through my tattoo but honestly I can not even tell. I was never in any pain even after the surgery. I am so pleased with my experience.

From the time my Primary Dr sent the referral to Dr. Miyatas office in only 2 weeks my Hernia procedure was set to take place. Talk about fast service. Dr. Miyata explained everything dealing with the procedure to the finest detail. It made me feel at ease that I was in the right hands. My experience with Dr. Miyata regarding my health troubles was 10 out of 10. He has excellent bedside manners. Very professional and easy to talk to. He listened to all of my concerns and developed a plan and a step by step approach which provided a great outcome. Scheduling an appointment was easy and was really quick. Office staff had great customers service and was just as amazing!
