He’s the kind of Dr that will dismiss you
One year ago my son was admitted for a uti, which this was his 2nd uti he’s also had multiple infections like mrsa , cellulitis and rhino virus .. during my 5th admission he starts to dismiss all his hospital stays , and said well it’s normal for kids to get these things at that age , he also mentioned that he didn’t fit the criteria for someone with an autoimmune disease because his weight was in the 70th percentile. I then asked him is that enough to rule out autoimmune disease he sighed and said no . And state stated my son was completely healthy , I felt horrible and overlooked 2 months later after him seeing hematology my son was diagnosed with severe neutropenia.. he’s very passive aggressive and won’t think outside the box if ur child isn’t dying then he thinks ur child is perfectly fine .. run a way from this Dr .. “if you hear hoofbeats think Horses not zebras”

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Alexander?
Dr Alexander helped my son from 3-6 years old with multiple MSSA infections and got him into a study at 6 that effectively dropped his rate of infections from every 6 weeks to 2-3 a year... Sadly he is no longer with Comer Children's Hospital though the kids in Orlando are VERY lucky to have him there now.
